3: Getting to Know

The fan girl inside me was going crazy. I'm talking to Dan Howell. Daniel James Howell.

Dan: How's it going?
Y/n: Amazing now :3 wbu?
Dan: Pretty good

This conversation is going downhill already. I must save it!

Y/n: I'm sure you get this enough but can I just let out my inner teenager for a few secs? xD I'm an adult though I swear! 😂
Dan: Sureee lol
Y/n: Well..... I'm freaking out because my favorite YouTuber of all time is talking this is so amazing I'm dying.
Dan: No don't dieeee!
Y/n: xDDD this is so exciting to me so quick questionnnn
Dan: Yes?
Y/n: What are you doing talking to me? xD (I hope that didn't sound rude)
Dan: Your YouTube channel is great! And the art work of me and Phil just well done 👏🏻 Besides those you seem very sweet and...

He stopped! What was he gonna say???
Y/n: And....
Dan: Nvm
Y/n: Come onnnn
Dan: Do you live here?
Y/n: Hey! No changing the subject xD
Dan: Shhhh xD Do you live here?
Y/n: I live in the US
Dan: So farrrrrr
Y/n: I knowww you guys need to come here
Dan: Hopefully that'll be happening.
Y/n: I hope sooooo
Dan: OMG I just realized something I'm probably keeping you up I'm sorry haha
Y/n: Oh no it's fine.
Dan: I'm sure you need sleep um... What's your name?
Y/n: Y/n
Dan: Well I'm sure you need sleep y/n and I'm keeping myself up too
Y/n: Oh okay well text you tomorrow?
Dan: Ya sure :)
Y/n: Goodnighttttt
Dan: Nightt

With that I went to sleep with a smile on my face.

The next day I woke up just as happy. Not groggy, happy. I grabbed my phone and texted Dan.
Y/n: Heyy
I continued to get dressed. I get the tangles out of my (h/c) (h/l) hair. I hear my phone ding. It was Dan!
Dan: Hii
Y/n: Whatcha dooin?
I style my hair the way I like.
Dan: Contemplating on whether or not I should do a live stream 🤔
You: You should!!
It would be cool to watch Dan do a live stream then I could be like, hey! I've been talking to him lately. I finish my morning routine and put my lanyard on. I walk outside and walk to my car.
Dan: I shall do one then! Later though. Now it's time for Pokemon.
Y/n: Are you and Phil filming another Dan and Phil games?!?!

Dan: I will not be revealing anything!
Y/n: Come onnn
Dan: Nope nope
Y/n: Pweaseeee

I'd better get going before I'm late.

As Dan does the live stream he text me. It made me smile to see Dan smile at something I said. People kept questioning why he was smiling so much and he would say nothing. None of them believed that though. It lasted about an hour and a half before he ended it.
Dan: That was fun!
Y/n: Thanks for making my day interesting xD
Dan: Same goes for you xD You gave me something to do other than watch Anime.
Y/n: No wonder it takes you so damn long to text back xD
Dan: I'm sorry! I forget haha.
"If you guys need any help tell me," I tell new customers walking in.
Y/n: I'm boredddd
Dan: Well Phil just fell off my bed lol
Y/n: Why? xD
Dan: We're filming a video.
Y/n: Ahh I see

Y/n: There's this shirt I really want but I probably won't be able to get it.
Dan: What shirt is it?
Y/n: Twenty One Pilots
Dan: Ooh they're dank
Y/n: Stop right there xD
Dan: What color is the shirt? xD
Y/n: It's Galaxy black, with shades of purple and white. With zebra print clear but you can see it. The words are also white. Hehe
Dan: Is that some of your favorite colors?
Y/n: Yes/No

"(Y/n)," Taylor comes up to me. "Yes?" I answered. "Hi," I said to an old woman and a young girl I had to ring up. "Bracelets are buy one get half off if you want to go get another one." The girl nodded eagerly and went to go another one.

"Can you go to this concert with me?" He asked holding up two tickets to (f/a/b) {Favorite artist or band}. "Taylor..." I warn. "It's not a date just as friends." He says. I sigh. "He seems like a really nice guy I think you should go." The woman whispers. "I just don't wanna give him the wrong idea." I say. "Maybe you'll grow to like him." She smiles. The young girl placed an Of Mice & Men bracelet on the counter. I told her the price and her grandma handed me the money.

"You guys have a great day." I smile handing them the bag. "You too. Have a nice time." The woman says. "Come on," he urges. "Fine, only as friends though okay? I don't want to hurt you." I say. "You won't, I'll pick you up at 6:00?" He questions. "Ha you're funny if you're going to a concert with me we've gotta be there early. We have to be at the front." I chuckle. "Yes ma'am, right after we leave here then?" He ask. "Let me take my car home first and then we leave." I say.

"Okay," he nods.
After work I go home to drop my car off and Taylor picks me up. All the way there I texted Dan until he had to go.

I screamed when (f/a/b) came out! "My baby!!!" I grabbed my phone out and recorded them. I reached my arms out to them. They started playing a slow song, and tears burned my eyes as they threatened to pour. I wipe them as they keep coming. "Let's pick this back up!" They say as the song ends. They came near me!! I'm screaming! They held hands with me. I take pictures of this moment. I'm never forgetting this!!! The rest of the concert goes by smoothly. I take more pictures and have a blast.

"That was so amazing!" I say excitedly as we walk out of the venue. "I take it you had a fun time?" Taylor asked. "I had an amazing time. Thank you so much for bringing me." I say. I text Dan telling him the concert is over. "So this guy you've been texting," he starts. "Woe wait, how do you even know I've been texting a guy?" I asked.

"I've never seen anyone make you look that happy." He says. "It wouldn't work out. I'm sure he doesn't like me that way and he lives in London." I say. "How do you know that he doesn't like you that way?" He asked. I shrug. We reach his car, he unlocks the car and we get in. "If I were him I'd make it work because you're an amazing girl." He said. "Taylor..." I warn. "I'm just saying, don't take every compliment I give you as me flirting with you." He chuckles starting up the car. "I'm a nobody," I shrug.

"You're not a nobody and you're also gonna get popular with that YouTube channel of yours. Your content is pretty funny." He chuckles. "I hope so." I say. "You never know maybe you'll move to London and it doesn't even have to be for him." He says. "True." I nod. "Wait and see how things go." He said.
