Chapter 16- Ice Cream

Zanes POV

In my life, and how it seems in Aphmaus, we dont have very many moments where you can just sit down and relax. So, i need to solve that. I decided to take Aph somewhere calm.

"Zane! Where are we going?" Aphmau whined as i dragged her long. Dont worry, i dont mean literally.

"Ill give you some hints. Its somewhere calm, some people play sports there, and there are trees." I said easily. Aphmau gasped and started jumping along, making it so i no longer needed to drag her.

"I havent been to the park in ages! I LOVE parks. Can we climb some trees Zane? Pleeeeeeeeease?" Aphmau begged me with her cute puppy dog eyes. I sighed and smiled at her.

"why not." Aphmau started cheering and running to the park. I kept my normal speed. Nobody said i would have to run. Once i arrived, i realized Aphmau was already climbing some trees. At the moment it was short and thin.

"Yay!" I cheered as Aphmau slid down the last bit of the tree. Now Aphmau faced a much bigger and scarier challenge. The tree was a huge one, and not the sturdiest.

"Aphmau, maybe you should pick another tree!" I shouted up to her. She simply rolled her eyes and giggled adorably. She started to climb up higher, making my fears grow as well.

"AH!" A scream filled my ears, as i saw Aphmau lose her foot placement on the tree. As she struggled to get her feet back on the tree, her left hand fell out of placement too.

"APHMAU!?" I shouted, standing right underneath her. Aphmau shut her eyes and muttered something. Her right hand slowly gave way and she started to fall. Panicked, i ran around until she fell into my arms. She gasped as she realized she was safe and hugged me super tight. No one else was around us to see the sight.

"Lets get ice cream." I suggested out of the blue, as if it had never happened. Aphmau nodded and blinked away the small hidden tears in her eyes. We walked to the same little booth with a pink and white awning.

"Mint chocolate chip and superman please." I asked the man at the booth. He nodded with a smile. Apmau looked at me with a weird look.

"You remembered my favorite ice cream?" She asked.

"Nope." I rolled my eyes and said sarcastically, "they are both for me."
