Chapter 12- Family

Zanes POV

"So what are some things you like?" I ask Aphmau. This is the first time we are hanging out after officially meeting, so i want to ask the basic questions.

"Well, i know it sounds silly, but i love My Little Horsies." She said nervously. I gasped.

"Thats my favorite show! Who's your favorite pony? Mines Pinkie Cake." I say quickly. Her eyes widen and a beautiful smile appears on her face.

"I love Flarity! Shes purple, kind, purple, generous, and purple." She says happily. (I LOVE TWILIGHT SPARKLE BTW)

"So i take it purple is your favorite color?" I say matter-of-factly. She nods quickly.

"If i have the opportunity to wear or have something purple, it will be purple." She stated. I nodded taking a mental note.

"So whats your family like?" I ask, causing her to frown immediately.

"Why dont you go first?" She asked. Seeing as i made her upset, i agreed.

"Well, i have a mom, dad, and two brothers. My mom and dad fight a lot. In fact, they are always either fighting, or stay far away from each other. My two brothers, Garroth and Vylad, fight a lot too. Garroth is sporty and super popular, and Vylad is a bit introverted and naturey. They are both nice i guess... But they fight a lot too and they dont ever notice me. Im the middle child by the way. Now. What about you?" I ask. You can tell in her eyes that shes sad, though she tries to cover it up.

"My mom died. My dad is really mean, its like he bullies me too. I dont have any other family that im aware of. I was an only child, but i was close to my grandmother though. She... Is with my mom though." She coughs, to cover up the fact she is tearing up.

"So.... Whats your favorite subject in school?"
