Chapter 18- The Pink Haired Girl

Zanes POV

"Alright you should be good now Mr. Ro'Meave." My math teacher said, handing me my new report card. Turns out Aphmau was right. It was a mistake. I walked out of class and saw Aphmau waiting in the hall for me, smirking,

"Just say it." I sighed and waited.

"I told you so." Aphmau bragged, playfully. She giggled which was adorable.

"Yeah yeah. Whatever." I replied. I was about to bring up another subject, when a girl with pink hair bumped into Aphmau.

"AH!" Aphmau let out a squeak of surprise as she hit the hard floor, her books falling to the ground.

"Ooh! Im sooooo sorry!" The pink haired girl said sarcastically and laughed. She kicked one of Aphmaus books far away and left. Immediately, i reached my hand out to Aphmau. She took it shakily and i pulled her up.

"Are you ok Aph?" I asked her soothingly. She nodded and picked up her books.

"Whats with that girl? Do you know her?" I asked. She shook her head.

"I have to go to class. Ill see you later Zane." She said quietly and slipped into class before i could object. She tried to hide it, but i saw how tears were polling in her eyes.

I got to class quickly before the bell rung, and sat down quickly. My science teacher started talking about something, but i wasn't listening in the slightest. I started to doodle something random.

Circle here, line here, weird thing here, ect. I didnt really know where i was going with it until i was done. It was a town on fire. Building were collapsed and some where still standing. One person stood in the midst of it all. He had emerged from some wreckage and stood as tall as he could.

His world was falling apart...
