Chapter 15- Another Dream

(Hi to my WBB. You know who you are 😉 Also, before listening to the music, keep in mine it says the f word a lot. You have been warned.)

It was too close of a call. If Zane had insisted, i dont know what i would have said. Im now looking at the ceiling of my bedroom. Zane called me important. Ive never been told that before. Im just.... Shocked. This whole situation surprises me. Zane surprises me. He cares about me, he feels bad for me, he thinks im important, hes my friend. Why? What have i done to deserve his friendship? Im not pretty. Im not rich. Im not outgoing. Im not special. Im weak. Im a crybaby.

~Dream~

Everything is blurry. I cant move. I cant breathe. It feels like i dont exist. Maybe i dont.

"Aphmau!" I hear from a distance. The person sounds worried. I try to get to the person, but i cant.

"Aphmau!" I hear, as the voice gets closer. Once again, i try to move but im unable.

"Aphmau!" The person, who i can now identify as Zane, sounds so close. Im scared, and just want to hold him and know everything is going to be ok.

"Aphmau!?" Zane screams. He sounds like he is now right over me. I cant talk, so i just lay there. My eyes start to close.

"NO! Aphmau you have to stay with me! PLEASE!" Zane sobs. I try, but my eyes shut.

~Dream~

I awoke with a start. The dream has me shaking. I realize i fell asleep. It seemed so real, i just dont know what to do. Should i forget it? I dont want to worry Zane, so i think ill keep this to myself. I mean, its clearly just a dream. Theres nothing to worry about. Its not real, and it could never happen.

Right?
