Darkness, as far as the eye could see.
Herobrine's rage felt as dark as the world around him.
He knew that he had been defeated. He had been sealed away in his own Gem, a feat performed only once before, by-ugh, did he really have to think the name out loud?-Notch.
Deep under Herobrine's fury was a knowing sense of calm. He was lost, gone, his soul scattered into millions of particles loose inside the small gem that seemed infinite in size to him.
But he would eventually reform.
Yes, he would soon come back from his 20-carat prison. And when he did, he would be able to use the Gem again, against the ones who had caused him this pain and shame-
The ponies.
That idiotic Twilight Sparkle and her five friends had helped the minecraftians he'd worked so hard to send to Equestria for his long-gone ally, The Derpollolus Squid Overlord. And for what? They didn't gain anything from helping the minecraftians. So why would they do it?
Herobrine thought happily of plans on how he would punish the ponies for their troublemaking. They had just gotten in the way in all of his and Derpollolus's plans, and destroyed his giant squid ally-well, helped destroy him, at least, and they needed to be taught a lesson.
He was Herobrine.
No one got away with defeating him.
