For pretty much an hour after Carmen transformed I was speechless. I was watching a fairy tale unfurl in front of my eyes and I wasn't quite sure what to think of it. The group of people who had gathered in the Garden had slowly dispersed. Some had come up to me and introduced themselves and others would smile as they passed me.
By this time it was early afternoon and Lucas offered for me to stay for lunch, Kaylyn's crystal blue eyes lit up at this and said that she would be able to introduce me to more people in the pack.

Drinks were set out on the long wooden table in main room where I had been asked questions.
Kaylyn poured me a drink with blue fizzy liquid in it.

"What the hell is this?" I pointed at the cup.

Kaylyn took a sip of it,
"It's called Lero or as other people call it, Wolf Nectar. It's werewolves equivalent to alcohol. We process normal alcohol so quickly that we don't actually feel the affects of drinking alcohol."

My eyes widened in shock,
"But we're not 18 Kaylyn we can't drink this."

Kaylyn giggled,
"Our Alpha won't let under 18 year olds have more than one glass. One glass doesn't affect us. You'll burn it off before you get home."

"Uh Kay, are you peer pressuring me to drink wolf alcohol? You know we were taught in school not to peer pressure people." I said with sarcasm.

Kaylyn shrugged,
"You're right, I won't force you. It's your choice."

I thought about it for a while,
"I'll just have a sip, just to try it."

I lifted the cup to my mouth and took a sip, I could feel the bubbles popping in my mouth, the Lero was surprisingly warm on the tongue. It was sweet but not too sweet.

I looked at Kaylyn,
"That's not bad" I smiled,

"I know right!" She was smiling.

She took my hand and guided me to a group of people in a corner of the room. They all looked about our age so I guessed that they were Kaylyn's friends. They were all smiling and laughing and as they saw me and Kaylyn walking over they grinned at us.

"Hey Bonnie Boo, we were hoping we would be able to talk to you." They smiled. So I had only been in the house for a couple of hours and I already had a petty nickname...great. I didn't mind though.

"Gosh guys calm down she's not a celebrity." Kaylyn rolled her eyes at them and they laughed.

"Well she kinda is considering all that's happened to her over the past few days." One of the guys in the group called out. He was wearing what could only be described as nerdy glasses but they framed his face nicely. His brown hair was styled into a cowlick and his dark brown smiling eyes were looking at me.

"Hi I'm Mathew, but you can call me Matt." He smiled at me.

"Nice to meet you." I said,

"Matt and I are basically siblings, our parents work together so we see each other outside of the pack house." Kaylyn said into my ear because the volume was rising due to more people talking and laughing.

Kaylyn then introduced the other three people in the group, a girl called Julia and another guy called Tristan who had his arm around a guy that I presumed was his mate, he smiled at me and said his name was Chris.

"You guys all look around the same age as me. What college do you go to?" I hadn't seen any of them before which surprised me because there were only a couple of colleges in the area.

They looked at each other, then Tristan turned to me,
"Matt and Kaylyn are the only ones between us who go to college. They rest of us are taught by the pack teachers."

"I didn't even know there were pack teachers." I raised my eyebrows,

"Yeah they're really good, a lot of people who graduate through pack teachers end up getting really good jobs. That's partly why we can afford these houses." Tristan gestured to the Mansion.

"That's awesome!" I said in awe,

"Yeah, a lot of us take it for granted but we do get a great education." Julia smiled.

We all talked for what seemed like ages and before I knew it I had finished my cup of Wolf Nectar. I wanted another but I had to remind myself that we could only have one. I started to relax.

Lucas called everyone to lunch, we walked over to the long wooden table and as we did, people came out with potatos, carrots, chicken, gravy and so much more. My eyes widened out in surprise. I knew that this food was to feed over thirty people but even then there was a huge amount of food. Kaylyn must have read the expression on my face.

"Remember we're werewolves Bon. We have to consume enough for two." She laughed,

"Yeah I know, it's still a surprise though."

We all sat down to eat, everyone piled food on their plate and I did the same. Surprisingly I finished the pile of food and before I knew it I had piled my plate up with food again. I was kind of scaring myself with how much food I could eat now.

Once we finished our meal everyone slowly dispersed into separate crowds. I was finding it easier to talk to people, more relaxed.

It felt like I had been there for ages but it was probably only a couple of hours, after a while someone decided to put music on. Everyone then got up and began dancing. Surprisingly, me included.

Hey guy! Ahhhhh I start college tomorrow hellllpppp xD

I hoped you liked this chapter =)
I don't know whether any of you have noticed but I changed the ages of Bonnie, Kaylyn and Adam to 17 (only a year older). So technically they only have a year until they can transform into a wolf ;).

I also want to give a shoutout to firewinner firewinner. I am really enjoying the book Saving Apt from this author because it has some interesting ideas. My favourite character is Eleanor xx
