Niall's POV
As the man had said the words, I felt the blood drain from my face and I instantly clung onto Harry as tightly as I possibly could. His grip on me was equally as tight, borderline painful but not in a way that I could complain about.
I felt my heart pounding loudly in my chest and I would be extremely surprised if Harry couldn't feel it himself, considering our close proximity.
My throat was extremely dry and it became hard to breath. I was seconds away from choking on the breaths that I was trying to take. My eyes stung, my vision going so blurry that I could barely make out Harry's worried expression and scared green eyes.
I wasn't the only one with a pounding heart, I could feel Harry's as my head was pressed to his chest. They were going to find us and that meant that I was going to die almost as soon as they opened the door.
Before either of us could say anything, the cupboard door slammed open, flooding the room with bright yellow, artificial lighting. I hadn't actually seen light for ages, so it stung my eyes. I was silent. I couldn't scream, my throat being way to dry to even attempt to make a noise.
I hesitantly looked up and saw six large men with guns towering over me and Harry. I felt his grip on my waist tighten and I wasn't sure if it were for my sake or his own.
Two of the men had walked off, disappearing from my vision and I could faintly hear the shuffling and moving of furniture, as though they were dragging tables and chairs around but I couldn't see what was actually happening.
One of the other four grabbed my arm and tugged me out of Harry's grip, regardless of how tight Harry's grip was, this man was clearly stronger than Harry, as he was able to pull me away without much effort.
As I was being pulled out of the closet, I saw another man grab Harry's arm and he was dragged out after me.
We were tugged into the centre of the room, the furniture had been moved around. Most of the chairs had been knocked over and the desks had been pushed against the wall.
The man who was holding me had forcefully shoved me into a chair. Before I could react however, I felt ropes being tied around my wrists, tight enough so I could feel them dig into my skin.
I noticed from the corner of my eye that they were doing the same thing to Harry. He too, was struggling and like me, it was no use, the men were too strong for us.
My eyes were pulled away from him when the man who I assumed to be the leader spoke. This man was huge, at least double my size. He was definitely taller than six feet and his muscles were close to the size of my head. He wasn't looking at Harry but at me.
"So blondie, are you gay?" he asked, the expression on his filling me with dread. "And you better answer the truth or I'll kill you. And him," he hissed, motioning to Harry.
I sniffled but nodded my head slightly. You could barely tell if I nodded or not but he did, which made the smirk reappear on his face.
"Is he your boyfriend?" he motioned to Harry again, the look in his eyes darkening as his gaze fell on Harry.
I swallowed the lump in my throat, before I turned my head to look back over to Harry. He looked back at me, seemingly just as terrified as I was, though he seemed to be trying his hardest to reassure me. There was little that he could do at that moment, so I tore my eyes away from him, resting my gaze on the floor.
"N-no. He's not," I stuttered.
His cold eyes staring at me as if I were his prey and perhaps I technically was. I was completely defenceless against him. There was no way I could stop him from doing whatever it was he was planning to do.
