Harry's POV

"Where is he?" I asked Tyler, getting slightly impatient as we walked away from the park. This time we weren't heading for the car we came here in but towards where I assumed Tyler's car was.

"Shut up, Harry. I'm taking you to him but I can't concentrate with you bugging me every two seconds," he hissed back, making me curse at him under my breath but continued to follow him.

He was, after all, the only way that we could find Niall, so I had to be careful about what I said or did around him. I hated how he had something to hold over me, it almost made me feel powerless.

We got into his car as soon as it was unlocked, not wanting to waste any more time. Tyler began to drive the dark streets, going a route that I didn't recognise at all, which made me wonder how far away this sick bastard had taken Niall.

The drive lasted around half an hour. It was late when we arrived, close to one in the morning but everyone was wide awake, too nervous to even think about drifting off.

The car stopped in front of a house. It was surprisingly normal looking. It wasn't the cliche, worn down house that stood out from the everything else that I was expecting. The house looked similar to all those around it, almost perfectly blending in with its surroundings.

I glanced at Tyler, hoping that he would confirm that this was in fact the place that Ryan was holding Niall. It didn't look anything like I had expected it to.

He sensed my gaze and turned to me.

"This is the place. If anything happened it would be a lot easier to avoid suspicion if he's blending in," he said.

"I'll wait here. He can't know that I'm here. Go save Niall and come back out here. Go through the side door, its lock is broken and Ryan should be upstairs right now. I don't know where he's got Niall but it's definitely downstairs somewhere," he continued.

"How do we know that you're not leading us into a trap?" Louis asked.

"You don't," he replied. "You're just going to have to trust me."

I nodded and we all walked to the side door, almost completely hidden in thick bushes. Sure enough, the door opened and we headed inside. It was dark, no lights were on downstairs, which confirmed that Ryan wasn't downstairs.

"Okay, split up into two so we search everything quicker," Liam said and pulled my arm, signalling he wanted me to go with him.

Louis and Zayn had already headed off to another room, leaving me to look over at Liam and nod.

It didn't take long for us to search downstairs and we had lost hope since none of us had found anything that could lead us to Niall.

"Harry. Liam. We didn't check this last room," I turned to see it was Zayn who called us.

We both followed Zayn to another door, which Louis was standing in front of. As soon as Louis saw that Liam and I had come over, he flicked the lock and gripped the doorknob, before opening the door.

The first thing my eyes landed on was a staircase and I knew immediately that this was a basement of some sort. We all looked at each other for confirmation before we walked down the stairs.

As soon as my eyes adjusted to the dark, they fell on a figure that was placed in the centre of the room. Even without the light, I knew immediately that it was Niall.

My heart clenched at the sight of him, he was covered in cuts and bruises, which were exposed due to him only being covered by his boxers. His blue eyes locked with mine and I sensed the fear and shock in them. They weren't the usual bright blue, they were much more dull, which led me to believe that something terrible had happened in the time that he had been there.
