My palms were starting to get sweaty. I was so nervous and I was afraid I was going to do something stupid at the altar. I wasn’t sure what exactly but there is probably something I could do to stuff up. I’m only hoping I don’t stuff up my vows. Oh god, what if I stuffed up my vows? Would Taevy even forgive me?
Josh put a hand on my shoulder. He was my best man. “It’s okay, Liam. Everything is going to work out fine.”
“That’s easy for you to say,” I told him.
I took a couple of breaths to keep myself calm. I was marrying Taevy, not some stranger. Why am I being so nervous? Maybe it’s because we were taking the next step in our lives. I was nervous excited at the same time.
The music started playing and it made me even more nervous. People in the audience rose in their seats, turning to the back. I glanced down the aisle as I saw Kaelie walking up the aisle in a dark blue strapless dress that went well with her eyes. She held a bouquet of purple roses in her hands.
And then I saw her. She looked so different as her father walked her down the aisle. I stood there with my eyes fixated on her. She was the most beautiful person in the world. She wore a white strapless dress that went all the way to her feet with a white ribbon around her waist. Her hair hung loose around her shoulders with a vile over her head.
Within minutes Taevy was standing in front of me. Everything around me became a blur, making it feel like we were the only people in this room. I pulled the vile over her head and leaned over to kiss her. Everything around us didn’t feel real, but kissing Taevy did feel real.
I pulled away and stroked her cheek. “You and I will be together forever.”
Taevy smiled. “Forever and always.” She put her lips to my ear and whispered my name.
She continued to whisper my name as she moved her lips down to my neck, kissing me there. I moaned. I looked around me and realise we were no longer in the chapel, but in some room that I couldn’t recognise.
“Liam.”
The way she whispered my name drove me crazy. I grabbed her hips and pulled her closer to me. She smiled and then leaned over to kiss me. Her lips felt so real and it sent my heart racing. She continued to whisper my name as she reached for the hem of my shirt and pulled it over my head. She kissed down to my neck, over my shoulder and down my chest. I moaned. Taevy pushed me over to the bed and leaned her body over me. I stared into her eyes.
“Liam,” she whispered.
I didn’t open my eyes even though I knew Taevy wanted me too. I lay there as she continued to place kisses on my neck and whispering my name into my ear. I pretended to stay asleep, enjoying every moment Taevy was doing to me.
“I know you’re awake so open your eyes,” Taevy said.
I obey her and opened them to see her lying beside me. I smiled at her.
“Hey, what are you doing asleep?” Taevy asked me.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I hadn’t seen Taevy this morning after she and Kaelie had gone shopping. “I took a nap. Natasha wore me out after getting me to play Just Dance with her.”
Taevy laughed. “Well, get up because the concert is in three hours.”
I smiled. Saturday came so quickly and I was glad it did. I couldn’t wait for tonight to see the smile on her face. “I can’t wait.”
Taevy smiled and kissed me softly. She then let her fingers wander down and traced them with my collarbone. “So, what were you dreaming about? You were moaning in your sleep.”
