Mukti excused herself and moved out while Abhi followed her. She went in the garden and furiously kicked a stone when Abhi reached and started talking.

Abhi: baapre baap! Meri lady bheem....itna gussa. Hua kya hai? Kiski itni himmat hui that they messed with mukti?
He said in a amused tone trying to make mukti smile.

Mukti*annoyed* : not now Abhi. Please leave me alone.

Abhi: sorry but no can do because I can't leave my mukti alone. Never. Ever!

That was it for mukti, she crashed into his chest crying her heart out. After all how long was she going to hide her feelings, her anger....it had to come out in a way or the other and in her case it was in the form of tears. She cried and cried while Abhi stood there silent, letting her cry, caressing her hair lovingly. Finally she had calmed down now but was still sobbing lightly.

Abhi: shh mukti....its alright....what's wrong? Kya hua hai?
He kept on asking her whilst mukti continued sobbing hiding herself in his chest. Abhi carefully made her sit and himself settled next to her on a bench with mukti resting her head on his shoulder and abhi's one arm embracing her dearly.

Abhi: mukti kya hua hai? Tell me.....you are scaring me now

Mukti: ab-abhi vo...

Abhi: I'm listening mukti....kya hua?

Mukti: Abhi why can't manik just forget nandini? Why doesn't he understand that nandini is taking him away from us? That she....she is snatching him from us....breaking fab 5

As soon as these words left mukti's mouth, abhi got angry but he knew about mukti's insecurities. He very well knew how much she had suffered and how much she loved manik and hence he had to act wisely. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, calming himself and then began consoling mukti.

Abhi: mukti nandu is manik's best friend even before being his girlfriend. Its not easy for him to forget her. Acha tell me one thing....when har-harshad was dating you and you had to stay away from him....how did you feel?

Mukti*hesitant*: I...I..but how is it related Abhi?

Abhi: mukti please answer me

Mukti: I did not feel good... I used to miss him way too much....one day would be like a month for me when I was away from him

Abhi: hmm...and when he left you...could you forget him? Could you move on?

Mukti stared at him for a while but then answered his question looking down fumbling with her fingers.

Mukti: no

Abhi: then how do you expect manik to move on from nandini when she has been his best friend since forever and is also his girlfriend, the one whom he loves mukti. I know you think that nandu is snatching you away from manik but....

Mukti: Abhi please....

Abhi: no mukti not today. Please let me speak. When you were with harshad were you all the time with fab 5? Did you make sure to spend most of your time with fab 5 or were you with harshad? Tell me mukti

He asked.

Mukti*still looking down*: no....I..I spent most of my time with harshad because if I didn't he would think that I don't consider him as my priority

Abhi: great! So can't manik feel the same way as you did? You feared that harshad might leave you if you did not spend more time with him then can't manik fear the same?

He asked hoping that mukti realizes his point.

Realization slowly dawned upon mukti and she understood what Abhi was trying to say. Seeing mukti silent, Abhi continued.

Abhi*entwining his hand with mukti*: mukti manik has already confessed that he distanced himself from you because he wanted us (pointing towards both of them) to spend some quality time together so that WE come close. He never in his dreams could think of leaving you guys....you all are his family mukti and one can never leave their family

Abhi explained and for the first time during the entire conversation mukti stared straight in his eye. She wanted to believe in whatever Abhi said, she wanted to forgive nandini and trust her but yet one part within her was still not convinced, she needed time. Time that could help her make a proper decision.

Abhi and mukti were still in a daze when out of nowhere manik reached there and broke their trance. Not only him but even dhruv,Alia and cabir were present along with him.

Manik: mukti, abhi, guys I....I need to confess something

Mukti signalled through eyes asking the rest of them about what he was talking but they shrugged telling her that even they were as clueless as her.

Abhi: ha manik bol na....what do you want to confess?

Manik: Abhi vo....

Cabir: manik stop stammering so much and speak up....we won't kill you or eat you up

Dhruv: ha buddy bol na....what is it?

Alia: manik you are scaring us now....please speak

Manik*scratching the back of his neck*: its....its about me and nandini

Mukti: what about you and nandini?

Mukti was the first one to question when manik said nandini's name.

Manik: umm....actually guys me and nandini....we...uh...

Abhi: we what manik?

Manik: guysmeandnandiniarenottogether

He said tightly shutting his eyes in a go.

Others: what?

Dhruv: buddy say it clearly....we did not understand a word

Alia: ya I agree

Manik*sigh*: me and nandini are not together.....in fact we were never together....we were not dating at all....it was...it was all a lie

Others: WHAAAAATT!?!?
