Mukti was busy reminiscing her moments with Abhi, meanwhile manik took nandini to her room and made her sit on the bed, he himself kneeling in front of her.

Manik: dekho nandini I know ki itsnot easy for you. Abhi ko aise dekhna...its not easy but nandini aise kab tak pretend karogi? I know you are strong but nandini tum hi kehti thi na ke strong people also break down and plus showing your weaker side to me won't make you weak...ya? (Cups her face) You need to let it all out nandini

Nandini*avoiding eye contact*: there is nothing to let out manik...seriously, I am fine

Manik*holds her hands*: not this time nandini. Always remember, before being your boyfriend I am your best friend and will always be and you know you can share anything with me abd I won't judge you (makes her look at him) Nandini I am here to listen...speak up baba

The moment she looked into his eyes, the tears that she was trying to hide since two months spurted out, rolling down her face and soon enough she broke down in Manik's arms.

Manik rubbed her back soothingly and let her cry because he knew that this was much needed for her, she had to let out her tears which she has been suppressing since a while now. He kept on rubbing her back and timely pecking her forehead as she tightened the hug abd he reciprocated equally.

It had been a while now but her tears weren't stopping so manik decided to break the ice. He slowly broke the hug and made nandini face him, cupping her face lovingly. Nandini got her cue and began talking.

Abhimanyu's room

Mukti: Abhi you remember uss din jab I was upset because of harshad after the break up and tum achanak meri car ke samne aa gaye the? Agar main car nahi rokti na toh pakka tum hospital pohoch gaye hote

She laughed at the memory.

Flashback

Mukti and Abhi were finally on good terms now, they were kinda friends now and everything was going on peacefully. Mukti was still trying to move on from harshad but she couldn't. She had started taking anti depressants but alia caught her and hence she was having a tough time. To add it all mukti had just seen harshad with some girl, too close for her liking when she went to pick alia from her place so she was really upset and angry.

Mukti had reached college and was finding a place to park her car when out of nowhere Abhimanyu came in front of her car and if she wasn't alert, he would have surely got himself badly injured.

Cursing him, mukti got out of her car and marched towards him like a hungry lioness and found Abhi smiling at her which angered her even more but now before she could start with her yelling Abhi spoke up.

Abhi: are car ki kya zaroorat thi...you could have just asked me aur main apni jaan tumhare kadmo me rakh deta

He flirted making mukti huff in anger and annoyance.

Mukti*yells*: what the hell!? Tumhara koi screw dheela hai kya? Abhi takra jaate tum meri car se and here you are flirting with me with these not so impressive pickup lines! Grow up Abhimanyu! Kabhi toh life me serious ho

Abhi: nah! Being serious is not my cup of tea. Agar serious hone se problems solve hoti na toh main shayad serious hota but sadly for you and gladly for me aisa nahi hota so why be serious? Tumne kabhi suna nahi ki laughter is the best medicine and one should always keep smiling? Toh bas...main bhi vohi follow kar raha hu

He shrugged.

Mukti rolled her eyes at him but somewhere down the line, his words did leave an impact on her, its just she did not want to show him.
