The next day arrived soon as the sun peeped in breaking nandini's sleep who was till now sleeping peacefully, cuddling to her teddy bear but woke up with a jerk seeing the time.

Nandini: aiyyappa! Aaj rakhi hai...itni saari preparations karni hai and main itna late tak so rahi thi. Nandini Murthy you need to rush

Saying this she hurriedly went inside the washroom to freshen up and exactly after 15 minutes we could see her descending downstairs wearing a pretty traditional dress with some rakhis in her hand.

Nandini: ek kaam karti hu...pehle sweets aur breakfast bana leti hu. Sabke aane se pehle atleast that will be ready and decoration uske baad kar lungi

She nodded to herself and went inside the kitchen to prepare a sweet dish for the occasion and some breakfast. Till the time she was done with the kitchen chores, Abhi had already woken up and knowing his little sister well, he knew she will panic seeing the decorations not yet done so he decided to help her.

Nandini came out of the kitchen, engrossed in herself when she looked up to find almost all the decorations done. Her eyes roamed the entire place and stopped on Abhi who was busy putting up a streamer near the staircase, standing on a stool.

Nandini: Bhai you are the best!

Nandini's sudden shout scared him for a moment but he soon composed himself and walked towards her, taking her in a side hug.

Abhi: ab agar behen itni achi ho toh Bhai ko toh acha banna hi padega na varna use toh koi bhaav hi nahi dega

Nandini: oh toh aap mujhse jealous ho rahe ho?

She teased him.

Abhi: nope! I am proud of you...I am proud ke meri choti si behen itni matured and responsible hai isliye toh I know ki jab bhi I won't be there, you will manage everything around

Nandini: Bhai aaj ke din please aisi baatein mat karo na

Abhi: ok ok sorry...aaj ke din no emotional talks

Nandini: good boy!

"Are we disturbing you two?" they heard a voice from the door and turned around to find dhruv and alia standing there with smiling faces.

Nandini: are dhruv alia come na...you did not disturb us at all

Alia: waise kya hua? Why so emotional early in the morning?

Nandini: are all this because of Bhai

Abhi: baby doll I said sorry na

Nandini: whatever!

Dhruv: rehne de Abhi....all the sisters are same

Alia: what did you say?

They heard Cabir speaking as he entered in with navya and mukti by his side.

Navya said hugging nandini who reciprocated with a smile.

Mukti greeted, hugging Abhi who hugged her back and pecked the side of her head.
