Nandini: navya you really like Cabir na?

Navya was a bit taken aback by her sudden question but still nodded with a smile.

Navya: ha he's a really nice person but tum achanak aise kyu puch rahi ho?

Nandini: kyuki aaj tumhari har baat Cabir se shuru hui aur us par hi khatam and the happiness when you talk about him....that spark in your eyes and not to forget that tiny winy blush on your cheeks when you take his name....isn't it obvious that you are head over heels for him?

Navya*smiling*: maybe....I don't know nandini. Tumhe toh pata hai ki pyaar humare liye kya hai. Jaise vo log filmo me dikhate hai na ki dheemi hawa chalti hai, apki neend ud jaati hai, aap humesha us insaan ke saath rehna chahte ho jise apka dil chahta hai...vagaira vagaira Kya aisi cheeze asal zindagi me bhi hoti hai?
She asked innocently wondering if such things actually happen.

Nandini: I really don't know navya but maine suna hai ki pyaar na bas ho jata hai and you yourself come to know when you're in love
She spoke with a soft smile playing on her lips.

Navya: toh does that mean you feel for manik?
Navya asked cautiously gazing her face for any signs but did not get any. Nandini did not have an answer for it. She went all silent for a minute and then spoke what she always says...

Nandini: navya yeh tum Kya bol rahi ho? Me and manik....we are best of friends and usse zyada..... I have never thought of him that way
She trailed off.

Navya: acha and who said that best friends can't date or fall in love?
She asked raising her brow.

Nandini* sighing*: navya! Its just I don't know if we could ever be like that. We are best friends and I'm happy with it, pulling each other's leg, chasing each other, spending time together....that's how I like it and once when we start dating which ofcourse is a big 'if', things will get awkward for us

Navya: acha yeh sab chodo and tell me what do you think about love? What is love to you?

Nandini smiled her beautiful smile at this question and started pouring her heart out.

Nandini*with a soft smile*: 'LOVE' well love mere liye TRUST hai. Agar aap kisi par trust karte ho toh you can and will never misunderstand a person or jab aapke beech kisi galatfaimli ki jagah hi nahi hogi and that what true love is i guess.....understanding each other and trusting each other. Agar aap kisi se sacha pyaar karte ho toh aap us par blindly trust kar sakte ho and so love....love for me is trust
Nandini completed with a dreamy look  adorning her calm face, her eyes had a different spark in them as she admired the setting sun in front of her.

Navya*smiling*: you answered your questions yourself nandini

Nandini*confused*: huh?

Navya: you trust manik, you guys have a great understanding between you and always look for each other's back....isn't this love nandu?

Nandini: navya friendship me bhi aisa hota hai

Navya*sighing*: Tum nahi manogi...chodo! But do think about it once

That was when Abhi and aryaman called them over to the pav bhaji stall to eat. They both scurried there with nandini still pondering over what navya just said.

Manik's place

Cabir: vaise manik....what is love to you?

Manik: why suddenly?

Cabir: just answer na!

Manik*smiling*: love for me is TRUST Cabir. Where there is trust, there is always love. If you don't trust that person then you can never love them

Cabir: whoa deep thoughts bro

Manik: hmm

Cabir: so maybe you louuuve nandini then?

Manik* shocked*: WHAT!? Cabir what are you saying?

Cabir: dude you trust her blindly so I just guessed that maybe you love her

Manik: no Cabir...she is my best friend

Cabir: find a better reason brother
Manik just rolled his eyes in reply.

Cabir: acha alia you say....what is love to you?

Alia: love for me is FORGIVENESS. If someone truly loves a person then they should forgive them and try to move on

Cabir: hmm....impressive meri make up kit....not bad....not bad at all...so dhruv what do you have to say about it?

Dhruv: love....um....its....I guess its being the best companion that one could have....being a patient listener, a guardian to your loved one, showing them their mistakes and guiding them to the right path instead of letting them get misled like what our parents do for us

Cabir:  wow now that was something....mukti tujhe kya lagta hai?

Mukti: Love! Yaar its a hard question but um....love for me is FRIENDSHIP...ya friendship kyuki here you know well how your lover is and what are their secrets so there are no secrets and no surprises

Cabir: okay well....nice

Dhruv: Cabir tune hum sabse to puch liya but what do you feel about love?

Cabir*clearing his throat dramatically*: well love for me is daring. Agar you are in love then you should face the world and claim your love fearlessly instead of scaring away. Vo kehte hai na ki 'pyaar kiya to darna Kya!'
He air quoted the phrase.

Alia: but Cabir why did you ask us this so suddenly

Cabir: wait alia.....you will come to know (turning towards manik) acha so manik now what do you think?

Manik*still confused*: about what Cabir?

Cabir: are nandini and your love for her

Manik choked on his spit and looked at Cabir in astonishment.

Cabir: what? Look kya de raha hai? I toh definitely think ki you love my behna

Manik: Cabir ye tu kya bol raha hai! Its nothing like that....we are just best friends and usse zyada nahi

Mukti: Abe kameene Cabir tu kyu uske peeche pada hai? Agar vo bol raha hai that he doesn't love nandini then why are you forcing him?

Cabir: Abe kamini mukti tu kyu uski side le rahi hai? And manik baba I quit kyuki tu toh apni feelings maanne se raha but ya do think over it....you and nandini in louuuve

Manik*rolling his eyes*: ok Cabir I got it!

Manik was not ready to accept what Cabir said and was pretending to take it lightly but somewhere deep down he had started thinking if he was actually falling for nandini.
