MaNan: It all started with a lie

Jab Manik Met Nandini

After a hearty chat, Maddy and nandini entered the hall where the rest were seated. They passed smiles and settled down just when the bell rang and their pizza arrived.

Cabir: finally! I was starving

Aryaman: exactly bro. I would have died if the food did not come on time

Navya: but did you not eat two whole plates of chips just like a few minutes ago?

She questioned sarcastically.

Cabir: but baby that wasn't enough...I mean it was like a refresher we have before feasting on the main course

Navya eyed him in disbelief while the rest laughed as Cabir and aryaman attacked over the pizza like hungry cavemens.

Amidst all these, manik scooted closer to nandini and held her hand which grabbed him her attention.

Manik: I missed you

He whispered like a child deprived of his mother.

Nandini*smiles*: its been just fifteen minutes I was away manik

Manik: still I missed you...can't I miss my girlfriend?

He uttered annoyed.

Nandini: you sure can but why are you so grumpy?

Manik: its nothing

He dismissed her.

Nandini: are you sure?

Manik bobbed his head with a little smile, nandini smiled back.

Everyone started eating the pizza with nandini feeding manik occasionally and the others teasing her for the same.

The night passed by with everyone enjoying, teasing each other and having lots of fun together. It was late at night when everyone decided to get back home but on nandini's insistence, they all stayed back among whom manik was the happiest as he would get some more time with nandini and agreed instantly making his friends laugh.

Aryaman: ok so as we all are going to be here all night then lets do something interesting

Cabir: I agree...but what?

Navya: nandini and manik, we know how your relationship started but I am eager to know how you guys became friends

Alia: ya manik even we don't know about this...share it na

Nandini and manik glanced at each other and manik blinked his eyes.

Cabir: yeh manik toh kuch bolne se raha....nandu tum batao

Nandini: guys its not my place to share this...agar batana hai toh manik hi bataega

Abhi: ha its Manik's say completely

He agreed.

Soon all the eyes laid on manik expectantly who shifted uncomfortably on his place.

Manik: I think I can tell you about it

Nandini: are you sure?

Manik: yeah

Alia: manik come on start it already...I am really excited to listen

Manik: ok so our story started when nandini visited my house for the first time with her parents

He reminisced with a smile.
