Saddness and Comfort (Genji x Sad Reader)

Today was a day of remembrance, a day that (Y/N) had lost her family over ten years ago. As the years went by, no one cpuld help her, (Y/N) became hollow inside. Now she stands in front of their graves with roses in her hand. 'Mother... father... I miss you so... why couldn't I have been strong enough to safe you both? Maybe I shouldn't have left for Overwatch... then you'd both still be alive and well...' (Y/N)'s tears stream down her face as she remembered that fateful day the Talon rebels came into her hometown and killed everyone while burning the place to the ground. What was left of the once beautiful place was now ash. (Y/N) couldn't help but fall to her knees as she cried her heart out as the pain grew on her. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry for not coming home sooner... please forgive me... I never meant for this to happen to you both..." sobbing as the roses in her hands fell to the ground. In the distance, a certain cyborg watches her change drastically. 'So much pain... I've never seen her sad or any type of negative feelings before... she must've kept her emotions in check, hiding them away from us all...' Genji thought as (Y/N)'s cries got louder. Genji got closer to her as (Y/N) started to calm down. Hugging her from behind, (Y/N) gasped at the sudden arms around her. "(Y/N)... why didn't you tell me about this... you know I would help you in anyway possible." "Ge-Genji... I-I-I di-didn't kn-know yo-you wh-where he-here..." she tried to cover her face, but Genji stopped her as took off his mask and kissed her gently. Pulling away, Genji pressed his forehead against hers as he sighed. "I will always be by your side no matter what. I want to make you happy and comfort you when you're sad. That's what lovers do, and I want to keep my promise on making sure you'll be happy." "Genji..." (Y/N) looked into his eyes as tears roll down her face again as he wiped them away. Hugging Genji back, she cried on his shoulder as he rubbed her back, saying soothing words to comfort her. "I just miss my family... I shouldn't have left for so long... it's all my fault..." "(Y/N)... don't say that, it is not your fault. It is Talons fault... I promise to make them pay for what they have done to you... I'll do anything just to make you happy again." "As much as I would love revenge... it is not the answer, and you do not have to make me happy... because of who you are and staying by my side is all I need to be happy..." (Y/N) sniffled as Genji kissed her forehead. And at that moment, (Y/N) had felt at peace as she sticked to Genjis side in comfort...
