I opened my eyes slowly as the sound of soft snoring beside me. Looking to my side, (Y/N) slept peacefully with his chest raising up and down as he held my hand. (Y/N) is only a year younger then me, but always gets scared when I'm gone for so long, I find that cute. Leaning over, I kissed his forehead and got up to check on Sage. Opening the door to our daughters room, I could see Sage whimpering and blabbing in worry. "What's wrong my little angel, did you have a nightmare? Don't worry, I'm here." I whispered to her as she raised her little arms up to me. I picked Sage up from her crib and brought her back to the bedroom.

Upon returning, I find (Y/N) awake with a worried look. "Genji? Is everything alright? Did Sage start crying?" "She wasn't crying, but whimpering. She seemed to missed our comfort, so I brought Sage here." I said softly as Sage snuggled into my chest, looking at (Y/N) cutely. "Or maybe she wanted your attention." (Y/N) said as he crossed his arms in jealously. I chuckled at his childish behaviour as I sat down on the bed with Sage held close to my chest. "Someone sounds jealous over a baby now~." I said in a teasing tone. Sage blabbed happily as (Y/N) looked away in embarrassment.

"I am not jealous over a baby, don't be ridiculous." (Y/N) huffed before getting up and heading towards the door. "Where are you going?" "To get some air." (Y/N) didn't glance back when he replied as he disappeared into the dark hallway. I sighed Sage looked at me, wondering what was going on. "Don't worry Sage, your papa is a bit tired. Thats all you need to know. Now, lets get you back to bed." Sage started to look tired as a little yawn escaped her mouth and eyes started to close. Going back to her room, I placed Sage in her crib gently and then started looking for (Y/N). Checking the backyard, I found him in a tree, messing with the sakura blossoms.

Reaching the tree, I looked up at (Y/N) to see him looking away. "(Y/N), love, can you come down now?" "No." "... Well, can I at least join you?" I asked as he stayed silent. Taking that as a yes, I climbed the tree and sat next to him. He tensed for a bit before relaxing as I held his back. "What's wrong love, was it something I did?" I questioned as he sighed. "No... But in my dream you did something... In it, you left me in the middle of the night with Sage and said that you didn't love me anymore, that Sage is the only one you loved now." (Y/N) sniffles as he closed his eyes.

"Then you both vanished and left me alone in a void. I was sacred and I didn't know what to do, I thought that I truly meant nothing to you when I woke up to see you gone." (Y/N) whispered as tears went down his face. I turned (Y/N) to face me and held him to my chest as he cried. "Never (Y/N)... I would never leave you. I may love Sage, but you are the one who has my heart." I said as (Y/N) his sniffles started to stop, his breathing becoming light again. I sighed as I realized (Y/N) fell asleep. Picking him up, I jumped down the tree with ease and back inside the house. Once in our room, I laid (Y/N) down and I laid beside him, holding him close. "Don't worry love... you're not alone tonight... I'm here for you, forever and always."
