*(Y/N)'s POV*

Today was the day, I become a trainee to be a hero. I would have joined earlier, but due to family problems, I stayed back to take care of them. Now here I am, waiting for my instructor. Staying quiet and looking around, I didn't hear th at someone was behind me. "Hey Love! Long time no see, am I right?" A cheery voice said as an arm was wrapped around my shoulder. I jumped a bit before hitting Tracer's arm lightly. "As to you, Lena. It's been a while. How have you been?" "Its been wonderful actaully. Being a trainee was difficult, but after a few months, you become better! When I heard that we were getting a new recruit, I had a feeling that it would be you! How's the family though? Are they okay?" "They are quiet fine Lena, just a simple sickness that could be cured easliy." I said, smiling sadly at her before a voice intruppted us.

"I see that you're becoming friends already with Tracer. Not surprised since she's friendly to all new recruits." A metalic man appeared from nowhere as Tracer blinked towards him. "Genji! It's good to see you. And (Y/N) was my best friend since the beginning, I'm happy to see her again! How come you're here? Were you looking for us?" "Actually, I'm here to train the recruit." Genji said as he looked towards me. I froze for a moment before greeting him nervously. "H-Hello, my n-name is (Y/N). It's n-nice t-t-to meet you Ge-Genji." He chuckled a little as he stepped forward. "I already know who you are and you don't have to be nervous." I sigh mentally before Genji continued. "At least, not yet that is." Tracer hit Genjis arm slightly before shaking her head.

"Don't listen to him (Y/N), the only thing you should worry about is when you're facing the enemy." She blinked beside you as she whispered. "And if he tries anything, call for me. I'll be here in a second to help you out." Tracer said before blinking off into another room. I felt a hand on my shoulder as I look beside me, not realizing Genji was there. "Training will start at noon. Now, don't think that training will start noon forever. I'm only doing this just once so that I can get to know you. Normally I would never do this and start training with every new recruit, just like when Tracer was a newbie hers. " "Wait? You were Tracers instructor?" I asked as Genji lead me towards a bench near some training bots.

Genji nodded his head as he took a seat, making a gesture. "Yes and she was quiet fine... other then the part that she'd bounce around the place like a madman. She has so much energy built up that it's hard to control at times." I giggled a bit as I sat beside him. "Yes, she's full of energy, but that's normal for her to be that way. I got used to it after sometime." "I can tell, you seemed comfortable and calm with her around. Not fazed by her excitement." "Again, I practically grew up beside her since birth. We were inseparable." I say before looking at my hands. "But that all changed when my family became sick. Me and Lena were supposed to start together, but I was pulled back in order to help my family. I couldn't just leave them in the house, unable to move or lift a finger. They were so weak... so fragile... I couldn't tell Lena the truth actually." "What do you mean?"

"About my parents... the sickness killed them and left my older brother in coma. He was saved, but that was the downfall if he was to survive. I really don't know how I didn't get affected." I spoke quietly, afraid that Tracer would hear me. Genji said I nothing as a tear landed on the floor and my heart slowed. "But that's in the past, I have to keep looking forward, for my families sake." I breathed as my heart rate went back to normal. Looking at Genji, I smiled brightly. "Now, why don't you tell me something about yourself?" Genji was surprised by the sudden change in mood, but cleared his throat. "My past? Ah, well, how do I say this... I was in a clan. I wasn't going to be able to have control over it due to my brother being the heir to take control. Because of that, I did what ever I wanted... and practically became a, uh, ..." Genji's voice trailed off as he faced away from me. I looked at him in confusion. "You became what?"

"A, uh, ..." Genji mubbled is answer, making me annoyed. "Come on, it can't be that bad. What is it?" "Fine... I was a player." "A player- wait. No way, YOU, a playboy? Well shit, I never thought that you were one. I mean, you don't look like one." I said, feeling his gaze as I laughed. "Don't laugh, I was a playboy back then. And a damn good one, you know why? Because I was able to get all the girls around me to fall in love. They practically did whatever I said to just be with me." Genji said with full of pride and chest puffed out, only to be laughed at even more. I couldn't stop laughing, I had to place a hand on my chest because of the pain. "Oh my god, oh my god, this is to much! To me, you are all words and no show! For all I know, this could be all a lie and you're covering up the true past. Good story you just made up Genji, I have a feeling we'll get along just fine." I cover my eyes as tears streamed down my face.

A quiet growl was heard as something cold grabbed my arm. I gasped as I was pinned to the ground, arms above my head as Genji sat on top of me. "You are only human... and you seem nice. If you keep this up... I'd hate to kill you." "Did you just threaten me? I was only teasing... but you'll have to try harder then that to shut me up." I said as I lead my head forward. Genji continued to hold my hands with his as he grabbed the edge of his mask. Clicking his mask, Genji removed his mask as he held a mischievous grin. "Well then, maybe this will shut you up?" Genji swiftly kissed me with force as my heart stopped and my mind shut down. I couldn't think as I kissed him back, feeling the smirk against my lips. Pulling away he lead his lips against my ear. "Because of your actions and teasing... I'll make sure training will be much harder for you... my dear."
