(Young!Genji x Male!Reader)
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>People change over time and it happens to everyone, no matter if they deny it to others. Well, that happened to my so called 'lover' recently. At first, it was the normal actions like talking less and not paying much attention to what I say. Then comes the fun part... He constantly stayed out longer during the week days and wouldn't return home until 3 in the morning. Sometimes he smelled of alcohol and sometimes, he had the smell of perfume. A times, I denied that he was cheating on me for someone else, but weeks went by and I started to doubt myself... I only knew one person who could tell me the truth, well two actually, and they would be Hanzo and Jesse. If they knew of Genji's actions, then they could help me out.

Walking to the front door, I knock loudly and wait. The warm breeze moves through my hair as someone finally opens the door. "(Y/N)? Is that you? Well then, ain't you a sight for sore eyes! Come on in!" Jesse says happily to me as he pulls me in for a hug. "Long time no see cousin, I just came by to talk about Genji..." I whisper as Jesse smile disappears and he nods. Closing the door, I sit besides Jesse as he takes out a cigar. "Want one?" "No thanks Jesse, you know I don't smoke now a days. Last time I had one, I almost passed out." "Suit yourself then." Jesse says before lighting it up. Leaning back, Jesse looks at me before shaking his head. "Tell me cousin... What did Genji do to you? You seemed to have... changed a bit." Jesse askes me as I sigh.
"Nothing has changed about me... But I know something in Genji has changed." I mutter as I look down at my hands. Jesse stays silent for a moment as he thinks. "What makes you think he's changed..." "Well... At first, he just talked less and didn't listen to what I say. But then he stayed out longer, bringing back scents of alcohol and perfume... Cousin, I think he might actually be cheating on me." I admit to him my doubts of the relationship between me and Genji. Jesse sighs as he takes my hand and squeezes them gently. "Its okay (Y/N)... A lot of relationships don't go well. If you want to, I'd ask Hanzo if he's seen him around the bar? That's the only place I would think he would go in the night times." Jesse offers to me as I nod my head slowly.
"That would be nice, thank you. But do you think there is a chance that he changed because I won't?" "I doubt that, you know everyone changes. You probably changed without knowing it and caused something to change within him. Thats what happened to Hanzo when he started his job at the bar. He became more blunt without knowing it and whenever I asked a simple question, he'd sarcastically answer." Jesse says with a sad tone hiding within. Frowning, a sigh escaped my mouth as the front door opened causing us both to look at the person at the entrance. Hanzo closes the door and places his coat on the coat rack to turn around to see us on the couch.
Raising a brow, Hanzo did a simple wave. "Greetings (Y/N), I didn't realize you were coming over today. I figured you'd be at home." He greets softly as he sits carefully on a chair next to Jesse. "Yeah, sorry about dropping by unnoticed... I was wanting to talk with Jesse about Genji..." I say as Hanzo looks between me and Jesse. "(Y/N) is thinking Genji might be cheatin' on him. Tell you the truth, by what he told me, I wouldn't be surprised really... Have you seen Genji in the bar with anyone?" Jesse askes Hanzo as his cigar is snatched from his mouth and extinguished. "One, what have I said about smoking? Smoking is slowly killing you and I'd rather not lose you to that cancer causing stick. And second, yes, I've seen my brother in the bar almost every night with a woman. The woman seems to have a British accent and calls him 'Love' constantly..." Hanzo says as Jesse grumbles as him for taking his cigar away.
My heart drops at Hanzo's words as my eyes drop to the blue carpet flooring. "So Genji is cheating... With a woman. Maybe he changed taste in love and fell for a woman? I guess that's understandable, but he could've at least told me before cheating." "I truly don't think he is cheating on you." "Why would you day that? Is it because you care about your brother and rather not see him get hurt?" I snapped accidentally at Hanzo as he frowns. "It's because Genji isn't into woman. I should know since I grew up with him. He never took an interests in women." "And what if you're wrong? What if he finally changed and is into women now?" I says before standing up. Jesse trying to calm me down, but I don't listen to him as Hanzo sits calm in his seat.
"If I'm wrong, then so be it. It's not my problem if Genji is into men or women. Its your problem go deal with him, you find out. I can only tell you with what I saw... Now I would suggest you go home now, I believe Genji is waiting for you." Hanzo says as he watches me head towards the door. Jesse tries to follow me, but Hanzo places a hand on his shoulder to stop him. "Let your cousin go... This isn't your fight, it is his. Remember that, Jesse." Hanzo mutters to him as I slam the door in anger. Walking down the street, my blood boils just thinking of Genji. "I swear, I can't stand Genji at this point. If he truly is cheating, then this'll be the last time I ever be with him." I growl under my breath as I reach my home to see the lights in the living room on.
Unlocking the door, I step in to hear giggling... from a girl. Closing the door behind me, I grip the keys in my hands tightly as the giggles go silent. Walking in the living room, I find Genji sitting beside as lady with brown hair smiling at each other before looking towards me. "Ah, (Y/N)! I was wondering how long you'd be gone! I want to introduce to you someone I met sometime ago!" Genji says happily as I glare at them both with my arms cross. "I see, and I'm guessing this is the same person you have been staying out with?" "Huh? How did you know? Did Hanzo tell you? I'm not surprised if he did, but yes, I want you to meet Lena! She's a friend I meet not to long ago, we became very close after finding out we have a lot in common!" Genji says as he wraps his arms around Lena's shoulders.
The woman waves excitedly as my body becomes hot with anger. "How so? What do you have in common that attracted you to together?" I sneer at Genji as he looks confused at me. "Uh, the things we have in common are music bands, video games, and having a lovers. Sadly Lena's girlfriend couldn't come here to meet you." Genji says as my eyes widen in surprise. "Wait... Lena has a girlfriend?" "Course, why wouldn't she? She is a lesbian. I figured you wanted to meet more people since you mostly stay at home." Genji says as tears swell up in my eyes. Genji sees tears begin to form and gets up to hug me. "Are you okay? Was it something I said? Please don't cry my love." Genji says as I brush my tears away. "Nothing... I just need to breath for a moment. It was nice meeting Lena." I mumble lightly before heading upstairs to my room.
Once inside, I sit on my bed and let my tears stream down my face. "How could I be an idiot... How could I think he was cheating on me. I'm such a horrible person." I sneer at myself as a knock was heard. Looking up, I see Genji standing at the door way with a sad look. "Is that why you were upset? You thought I was cheating on you with a girl?" Genji says in a sad voice as he kneels beside me and takes my hand, kissing it. "I would never, ever do that to you... I love you to much to lose you..." "I love you too. I'm sorry for thinking of such a thing, I truly am. Please forgive me..." I whimper as Genji rubs my cheeks. "You don't have to apologize to me... Its okay. Don't cry." Genji says to me before kissing me gently, placing his hands against my flat chest. Running my hands in his hair made him sigh as he pulls away and olaces his foreheadd against me. "I love you, so much. You make me feel good when I'm with you."
