Can We Keep Him? (Puppy Genji x Young Reader)

A lone scottish terrier ran around the block look for a place to hide. The rain hitting the ground hard and it being in winter, the little terrier didn't know what to do. Luckily for him, he found a box in an alleyway. In that same time, a little girl and her father were on their way home. "Daddy, how come (B/N) and (S/N) get a pet? They won't let me near the cat and said to get my own?" "Now (Y/N), one pet is enough, especially if its a cat. Why don't we get you a goldfish? I'm sure you won't mind?" "But I can't walk a fish nor can a I pet it." (Y/N) whined as something fluffy caught her eyes. Being curious, (Y/N) lets go of her father's hand and runs towards the box. Her father calling her back, the girl looked inside the box to see a puppy. "Daddy, daddy! Can we keep him! He's so adorable!" (Y/N) picked up the puppy as he whined and wiggled in her arms. "Now (Y/N), you can't just pick up stray animals." "But daddy! I want to keep him, I promise to take good care of him. I'll make sure he's fed, walked, and is happy! Pretty please, with a cherry on top?" (Y/N) stuck out her bottom lip as she begged her father. The puppy started to lick her face as the father sighed. "Alright then... we can keep him, but what's his name going to be?" "GENJI!" "Genji? Why's that?" "Because he has green eyes and gray fur! He reminds me of the Overwatch hero!" (Y/N) giggled as the puppy, Genji, yipped in joy as her father laughed. "Okay then, Genji it is then. Well, welcome to the family litlle buddy." Her father said before taking (Y/N) into his arms as they continued home, with their new puppy Genji.
