"Boi you better wake the fuck up or I will kick you out this train"
Dan shot up in his seat. Where the hell was he?
"You awake? This is the last station this train gets to. Get off"
Dan, still shook, looked up at the woman in front of him. She was around 50 years old, wearing some kind of uniform and Dan realized she probably worked at the station. "Um which station is this?"
"This is Jackson Heights"
"What's that?"
"You're in Queens, honey. Now get off the train"
"I uh- what's Queens?"
"You're out of Manhattan. Do you know how to get back?"
"Oh uh yeah. I mean I just don't really want to. It's um complicat- sorry"
"What's wrong, sweetie?" her expression turned soft when she saw how anxious he looked. "Are you feeling okay?"
"C-can I stay out here for a while?"
"You wanna talk?"
"I guess yeah" Dan quietly answered.
"Stay as long as you like, I have nothing to do. But first get off the train and come to my office, I'll make you some coffee"
