After I left the room to get Lily some food, I also ran a few errands. A lot of the girls were down stairs preparing for supper. I took this opportunity. "Ladies."

They all stopped what they were doing and nodded their heads in respect but Lana was the only one who spoke, "Yes Alpha what do you wish?"

"Well I don't know if you all heard but I have found my mate." A few gasp escape the girls. "Her name is Lily and she is a rogue but she did not come alone. She brought her brother, Mikel, who is around 12 maybe and their little sister, Rose who is about 7." The girls start to whisper but one glare from me silences them. "I want you to clear out two room at the end of my hallway for them by tomorrow. This shall be a surprise and I expect nothing but the best from all of you. Got it?" I got swift nods from them.

Lana than spoke, "We would be honored Alpha." she said as she handed me a plate fit for a king. "For Luna." Of course she made food for Lily too. She was like a second mother to me ever since my parents died a few years ago which means there's not much she doesn't know about me. I'll bet money she keeps tabs on me.

I nod and thanked her before heading back to my room. I stop short however, when I hear my mate raise her voice. She sounded angry and I was about to barge in when I heard her voice soften. I guess she was talking to Rose but the conversation shocked me. She was explaining what a mate was. It was amazing to hear the explanation leave her lips. She sounded so happy but what took me off guard was when my name was brought up and Rose pointed out that Lily was now a Luna. Luna Lily. Wow that title suited her well. I was content until Mikel spoke and said it explained why she could lie and not obey her last Alpha. But why would she lie? I don't want to know! She has to tell me face to face. Not because I was listening in. I barged in the room to prevent her from continuing.

The rest of the night I sat there and watch Lily and the kids interact. You can tell they spend a lot of time together because they didn't need to talk to get a message across dad. Don't get me wrong there was always something to talk about but I didn't miss the constant eye contact and body language they did without even realizing it.

Just before bed I went to my office for a brief moment to finish some papers and returned as fast as I could. But by the time I got there, Lily laid in bed and each of the kids snuggled next to her. Just as they were on the brink of sleep I heard Rosie mumble. "Night, mama."

That was cute but it just brought more questions to my mind. Why does she call her mama? Rosie can't be hers can she? Where is their real mother? Or parents for that matter? I tried to process these questions as I lay on the couch but soon drifted off into my own restless sleep.

In the morning, I was the first one up. I lay there and stare at the three people in my bed studying them more. It's easy to study someone when they are at their most vulnerable. They all look similar besides their hair color. Rosie's fit her perfect. Hers has a red tint to her stringy, brown hair, that fell down just above her lower back. Mikey's was a clean cut chocolate brown. Lily was the oddest out of them. Her hair was stringy like Rosie but extremely dark brown. Almost black. The difference between the dark hair and light eyes was breathe taking. How was I so lucky to have such a gorgeous mate.

I sat there for what seemed like forever, just staring. I woke from my thoughts when the sun began to peek through the window. I look at my clock and is already close to eight. I suppose I should bring some breakfast up for these three. Before I walked out the door, I stole one more glance at my mate. Wow!
