Phil was certainly against waking Dan up in the middle of the night, especially when Dan was running a fever and dying of the plague. But the snow was falling to delicately and Phil hated the thought of being alone on a snowy day.
So, he swallowed his pride and tiptoed into Dan's room.
"Dan?" He asked, tapping Dan. "Love?"
"Mmm?" Dan groaned, rubbing his eyes and sitting up, the movement making his head hurt. "Yeah princess? What *cough* do you need?"
"Well, uh, it's snowing." Phil said, giving Dan a hopeful smile.
Dan returned it with a weak grin before saying "And you want to sit in the lounge with the fireplace on while watching the snow with Anime in the background?"
Phil nodded, his eyes twinkling and the prospect. "I know you're sick...but it's time for medicine and maybe a change of scenery would do you good. I mean, you don't have to, I just thought that you might want too--"
Dan cut Phil off. "You're rambling again, Philly." Phil chuckled, sheepishly, silently praying Dan would comply. Dan heaved a sigh (which resulted into a coughing fit) and grabbed his laptop. "Fine, but you're helping me down the stairs."
Phil clapped his hands together lightly and wrapped his arm around Dan, helping him get out of bed. Dan stumbled a little, due to dizziness, but they made their way to the lounge without, well...dying.
Phil made two mugs of hot chocolate as Dan set up CrunchyRoll to put on a anime.
"Death Note or Your Lie in April?" he asked, his voice cracking at each word.
"You choose," Phil called back.
Dan smiled and pressed play on Your Lie in April and sat back in the couch, hugging a pillow to his chest. Phil came back, handing him a mug. Phil wrapped his arm around Dan's shaking shoulders and kissed a chaste kiss to Dan's temple. Dan gazed outside the window. Would he like to be in bed? Yes. Would he rather be out here, watching the snow fall with Phil? Of course.
"I love you," Dan whispered, putting his head on Phil's chest, falling into Phil's hug.
