Before

I was once considered to be the most beautiful woman in the universe.
Men would fall at my feet,
willing to give up everything for me
And I let them.

Kings and conquerors would become putty in my hands,
They would risk their worlds and wealth
to gaze upon my face,
to hear a kind word spoken in their direction.

Raventium never approved.
She thought I was vain and cruel
to torment men the way I did.
She was always warning me not to let my vanity get the better of me.
Yet, how could I stop looking at the perfection
that greeted me in the mirror each morning?

I was Tesseractia's most valuable asset,
I was the one who brought realms to their knees so that Eris could grow,
And I was betrayed the day that she chose Raventium over me.

Tesseractia never saw who our little sister was.
She could never see that Raventium was manipulating her and
spreading like a poison through our family.
Her innocence was an act, her good heart a sham.

When the prince of Nix came to Eris for the first time,
he looked to her instead of me.
He told Raventium she was beautiful.

I wanted to throttle her.

After

I absentmindedly scratch at the scar
that winds its way from my chin, up my jaw and
through my right eyebrow.
The motion angers me and makes my hatred for Raventium grow.

If it weren't for her,
Damian would be alive,
Hunter would be alive,
and Tess and I wouldn't be in this mess.

Every time I see her,
my hands itch to rid her from this world.
However, Tess has made it clear,
Aether will come first.
He who has always sided against us.
Only then can Raventium die.

I will truly relish the moment.
