Chapter 20

Ini's Point Of view
"Hey, tell us about Luna." Jayden says out of no where. I finish my final mouthful of my lunch while coughing lightly.
"What do you want to know? We've only been out twice." I reply.
"Um, everything duh!" Josh says in a fake American accent.
I cleared my throat, "Ok I well she's kinda short, she has a lip piercing and black hair, and she's in a band."
"Do you think you guys would make a good couple?" Jayden asks
"Y-yeah" I stutter. Part of me doesn't believe it. The boys nod as if to give their approval but the subject soon changes.

After a couple of minutes one of my best friends, Morgan, comes over and sits down. Morgan and I used to like each other but we thought it would ruin our friendship if we went out as a couple.

After a few minutes I realise I'm facing a bit of a problem, I can't look Morgan in the eye without blushing like crazy. Maybe the reason I don't believe Luna and I have much of a future is because I still have really strong feelings for Morgan.

When the bell goes for final lesson, I get my phone out and text Luna.

Hi, can you meet me at the train station in town in an hour? We need to talk.

I close my phone and rub my face and run my fingers through my hair. I can't believe I'm having to have this conversation. She quickly replies.

Sure. Is everything ok?

I know it's rude boy return a text but I didn't want to say anything more.

When school is over, I walk right by Josh and Jayden talking to Mavis and head straight to the train station. When the train stops in town I look around for Luna. It doesn't take long for me find her but much to my surprise, she's sucking some guys face off.
At first I feel a little bit angry but then I remember what I was going to be discussing with her.

After what felt like a lifetime she and 'the guy' pull apart. It doesn't take a nanosecond to realise who the guy is. It's Sam! As in, in my band Sam!
I walk away before I can get too mad.

That night I decide to text Sam.
I: So you know that girl you were kissing in town?
S: How do you know about that?
I: Funny story, I was going to meet her... To break up with her.
S: Wait what? She's 'Luna'.
I: Yeah
S: I'm sorry, I didn't realise she was your Luna.
I: Well I can't blame you, you weren't to know.
S: I guess I should tell you, she came on to me. I wasn't going to let her but I really need to get over someone.
I: I'm a little bit mad at her but I was going to end it to its not too big of a deal.
S: Yeah
I: Who you getting over?
S: I can't say.
I: Come on dude, you can trust me.
S: Promise not to tell anyone. Especially not Jayden.
I: Sure.
S: I like Mavis.
I: DUDE!
S: I know it's bad
I: Um, it's real bad.
S: please don't say anything, I'm really trying to get over her.
I: I won't
S: Thanks Mate
I: it's ok but you need to get over her
S: trust me I'm trying
I: :/
S: Sorry, I have to go, mums got dinner ready.
I: ok bye, tell Luna that I'm boy going to call her.

The next day, I get to school late. Overslept because I spent so long tossing and turning and thinking about Morgan. I wanted to text her, but I couldn't find the right words. I didn't want to sound like an idiot.

When I get to my locker, I notice Morgan standing at hers. She must have forgotten a book she needed.

"Hey." I said waving at her.
"Hey." She said quietly. I'm getting a vibe that there is something wrong.
"So, you and Luna Oswin?" She says. "Jayden told me."
I sigh and look down. "Look Ini, it's ok. I'm happy for you." She says.
I guess this is my time to talk.
"Look Morgan, I broke up with Luna yesterday. Well actually she kinda cheated on me, but that was after I decided to break up with her. Anyway, the reason I broke up with her is because I realised something. I was stupid to think she was right for me, I know now that there is only one person I'm meant to be with... And that's you."

She covers her mouth in shock. "I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner. I-"
Morgan interrupts me.
"Shut up and kiss me."

Hey guys, so WE MADE IT TO 20 CHAPTERS. I've only ever finished one other story so that's exciting.
