Costume shopping

Three weeks, that’s how long its been since I left Noah in New York, It took him about a week to get Melissa to agree to doing the CVS and today’s the day they’re going to get the test done then Noah’s coming home tomorrow. It’s been kind of hard to keep this from everyone since my brother and friends are starting to wonder why Noah hasn’t come home and he’s trying to avoid his parents finding out that he’s still there but so far lucks been on our side. 

“ I won’t give up on us 

Even if the skies get rough 

I’m giving you all my love 

I’m still looking up” 

“Hey, shouldn’t you be with Melissa right about now?” I questioned answering my phone 

“Well hello to you too.” He chuckled 

“I said hey.” I laughed 

“Whatever you say, and to answer your question we just finished up a few minutes ago.” He said, his voice instantly becoming more serious 

“Is everything okay?” 

“Yeah everything’s fine, I just want this to be over with already.” He sighed sounding exhausted 

It was times like this that I wish I had stayed with him just so I could remind him that no matter what the outcome is we’ll work everything out. 

“Don’t stress yourself out, I know this is a lot to handle but we’ll get through this together, no matter what happens.” I assure him 

“I know, I’m just ready to get out of here and get back home.” 

“Well I can’t wait for you to get back either, it hasn’t been the same without you around.” 

“So we really are good?” He asked hesitantly 

When I left New York things were a bit strained between Noah and I still but after the first week away from him I figured out I was so used to having him around that it was strange being away from him now and I didn’t like it. I also decided I wouldn’t let his past come between us, this happened before we were together so I couldn’t hold it against him. 

“Yeah, we’re good and we’ll get through this together.” I nodded forgetting he couldn’t see me 

“Good, I can’t wait get back and see you, you don’t know how much I’ve missed you.” 

“I miss you too, but I have to go I’m meeting the girls so we can pick out our costumes for Chases party on Saturday and then we’re meeting Vince and Ryan for dinner so I’ll call you later tonight.” I said checking the time 

“Alright, I love you.” 

“Love you too.” I said ending the call 

Sofi’s P.O.V.  

“How’s he holding up?” I asked when El hung up 

“He’ll be okay.” She shrugged putting her phone down next to her 

“And you, how are you feeling?” 

“A lot better than I was three weeks ago.” 

“You know that’s not what I was referring to.” I sighed getting up to follow her to her closet 

“I’m fine Sof, I don’t know how many times I have to keep telling you this.” 

“It’s almost a week now since this started and things have only gotten worse.” I pointed out crossing my arms over my chest
