Dark Times

Kiss it better.

Lani sighed listening to Garrett's steady heartbeat. Her fingers dancing over his stomach. It was like any other summer night. Hot and quiet, the only sound was from the small fan plugged in next to the bed. 

"What wrong?" Lani asked breaking the silence, she knew that something had been on garrett's mind as of lately. 

"My dad." he said leaving it at that. When honestly his mind had been racing all over the place trying to peace everything together. 

He felt sorry for him, he was in love with someone who no longer loved him. Then on the other hand he wanted him to feel as much pain his mother had gone through losing almost everything. He sighed kissing Lani's forehead. 

"No, Let me kiss it better." she laughed. 

"I'm so fucking lucky, you know that?" Garrett sighed again as Lani straddled him. 

"so am i." she smiled pressing her lips on his. 

"You know, sometimes i wonder what would happen if you had left me." He smiled pulling her body to his "I'd probably be dead." 

he kissed her deeply letting her go when the door creaked open and Michael came in with Silas following behind him.

Desmond sat at the bar sipping on his beer. It'd been a rough  couple of months. He groaned running an hand over his head. 

"You okay?" a girl asked hopping on the stool next to him. 

"not really, that's why i'm drinking." he said slightly raising his drink. 

"wanna talk about it?" the girl asked. 

Desmond looked over at the brunette. She smiled showing off blindingly white teeth. 

"I'm Camellia." she giggled out batting her lashed. 

"Desmond." he responded "Can I get you a drink?" 

she laughed "are you trying to take advantage of me?" 

he raised his hands up in defense laughing. Then sipping his drink. He found them laughing the night away. He didn't remember how it happened but they somehow ended back at his place. between the sheets. 

"I'll kiss everything better." Camellia seductively whispered in his ear.
