"Lani come on, we're gonna be late." Garrett smile tucking his black button up into his dark jeans.

She walked out the bathroom wearing a high waisted maxi skirt and a loose lace top. "Where's Michael?" Lani asked fixing her engagement ring back on her finger.

"He didn't want to go so I dropped him of at Gray's." Garrett smirked pulling her to him pecking her lips. "Now let's go I can't be late to my own mother's wedding."

They pulled up to the small Pentecostal Church that was the only church his family would go to. He smiled at everyone there. All the people there smiled and welcomed him. He looked over at lani talking to the pastor's wife. Basically speaking fluent Spanish. He excused himself from the group of mothers that had taken him captive asking when the wedding was if he's cut his shoulder length hair and whether he was staying 'pure'. He couldn't help but laugh remembering the night he and Lani had, if they knew they'd probably start to call him El DÍablo again.

"Hey, I'm going to go find my mom." He said waving to Maria and kissing lani's cheek. He rushed to the back room where youth group was held.

He smiled at his mother pasing the room.

"Hola mamà, ¿Como éstas?" He asked missing her cheeks.

"Me estoy volviendo loco."

He laughed, hugging his sisters, Carmen and Dahlia.

Lani and Garrett danceds slowly to the soft music as everyone else ate and talked.

"You know when I moved here I didn't expect to meet someone like you." She smiled laying her head on his chest.

"What's someone like me?" He asked looking down at her a smirk gracing his face.

"Yeah, some big tough guy who's actually a giant softy."

"Don't insult me darling." He tried to be serious, but couldn't stop the spreading smile. "I didn't expect a girl like you to tame me."

"A girl like me?" She scoffed

"Yeah. A hot girl who likes it sensual and dirty, or quick and rough." Garrett whisper to her.

Lani shook her head smacking his chest. "You bad, bad boy." She laughed.
