Chapter 15:Trading

Marco pov
Later, Ace, Thatch, Sanji, Zoro, Luffy & I drove down to where Teach always hides:in the dead end side of the city.

"This place is like a ghost town.." Luffy mutters.
"The Government have tried to get this side of the city back, but because of how strong Teach's people are, its not happening, yoi." I state.
"I remember...I used to go to that ramen shop over there.." Thatch sighed. "But now, we can't go near it. They used to make good ramen."

We parked outside a abandoned mall. As everyone began to unbuckle their seat belts, I cleared my throat to get everyone's attention.

"Now before we go in, yoi...I want everyone to stay close. We don't want to cause a fight, okay, yoi? We give them what we want, grab Victoria, then leave, yoi."
Sanji bit his lip. "Scum like them need to die.."
"I know..but we can't attack them. Not if we just wanna get out of there." Ace states.
"Anyway, everyone agree, yoi?"
Everyone nods their heads.

"Good...now lets get Victoria back, yoi."

Third pov
The six men entered the mall, and navigated their way around. They kept a close ear & eye out for anything that seemed odd or out of place.

Within him, Sanji's heart beats fast. He so badly wanted to just hurt everyone in the Blackbeard mafia for harming Victoria. He wanted to kick them until his feet are bruised, bloodied & broken.

'I will save you, Victoria-chan!'

They all stopped when they saw Laffitte standing there, tap dancing. Sanji narrowed his eyes upon seeing him, as he clearly remembered that he just recently had to face him in the Athletics day house relay competition.

"You...you're in this mafia?" Sanji growled.
He held the brim of his hat. "Why, yes. I am."
"Where is she? Where is Victoria!" Luffy yelled
"Thats why I'm here! I'm here to help you find your way!"

"Oi.." Zoro grumbled. "Should we really trust this guy?"
"Well...he's our only option." Ace mutters.

But as they were about to turn around, Luffy stood in front of Laffitte.

"Take us to her. Now."
"Oi Luffy-"
"Well then, lets go."
Luffy & Laffitte already started walking, immediately, Ace chased after his little brother, closely followed by the rest of the group.

Sanji & Marco watched the pale tap dancer very closely, making sure that he was actually leading them to where Victoria is being held hostage. Luffy, on the other hand, was whistling the 'Under the sea' song from The Little Mermaid.

Finally, they walked inside a truck unloading shed. In there, they found pretty much all of the members of the Blackbeard mafia.

"Ah, as always good job Laffitte."
Laffitte bows. "It was easy."

Laffitte sat down with his other colleagues. Stepping out towards them, was the famous 'Blackbeard' himself: Marshall D Teach. Living up to his name, he did in fact have a beard that was black. His eyes were piggish & beady, while his smile gave off the impression that he himself, is as evil & wicked as a witch. He grins deviously upon seeing Marco, Thatch & Ace before him.

"Well, well, well! I haven't seen you three in a loooooong time! Its good to see ya!" He greets snidely.
Ace lowered his honey chocolate eyes. "I wish I could say the same, Teach. But now? Now seeing you is distasteful."
"..what he said.." Thatch spoke out.

"Cut the bull crap." Sanji hisses. "We came here to get Victoria-chan back! Where is she!"
"Zehaha..! Oh we do have Victoria! But! Give them to us..give us the devil fruits before we hand you Victoria."

Sanji swept his blue-grey eyes over to Marco, who handed him the bag that was filled with the devil fruit drug. Sanji threw the bag towards Teach, who immediately smiled, and squabbled to pick up the bag. He opened the bag, and laughed upon seeing the drugs. Teach turned to Jesus Burgess, and flicked his fingers.

"Bring the girl."

Jesus got off from his chair, and went to the room next door. Moments later, he strode back into the room, with Victoria over his shoulder. Carefully, he placed Victoria down onto the ground. Sanji breathed out Victoria's name like a good luck chant.

But...all across her body, were large bruises & cuts. This caused both Marco & Sanji to glare at Teach as he counted all the devil fruit drugs.

"Be glad that we didn't kill her." Laffitte said with a sigh.

Luffy growled, but was held back by Ace. Sanji did his best to not lash out, and attack the scum called Teach. Calmly, he walked over to Victoria, and picked her up bridal style. Her eyes were shut, and it appeared that she was only sleeping.

"Why isn't she awake?" Sanji asked.
"She passed out." Jesus said.
Sanji growled. "Thats your fault."
"Well, really its her fault for being so weak." Jesus mocked.
"You don't know that..-"
"Swirly brow, now is not the time." Zoro cut in. "We'll take her to that Trafalgar guy. He'll take care of her."
Sanji glared at Teach & his gang. "Be glad..that I didn't kill all of you."

Sanji's party started to leave. Sanji stared down at Victoria. Carefully, he swept some of her wispy blonde hair off her face. He smiled, and carefully placed a kiss on her forehead.

'Thank god, you are safe with us.'

"Now hang on! Who said that you had given us the amount of devil fruit we want?" Teach called out.

Marco spun on his heel. "There's enough there, yoi. There's fifty in that bag."
"Yeah well....I'm not satisfied." Teach then proceeded to laugh. "I want 100 more of these!"
"We can't give it to you! We only had fifty of that type." Thatch argued.

"Well then...that means all of you can't leave! Boys! Take them out! And grab the girl! Make sure she's not harmed!" Teach commanded.

Marco looked over to Sanji. "Sanji! Take her, and get her out of here! We'll take care of everything, yoi! I swear, if you lose her, I'll get you, yoi!"
