*the next morning*
Victoria pov
The next morning, while Robin was showering, I quickly talked to Nami. "Hey Nami...about last night..." "Yeah?" "You're not upset about what Robin said?" I asked. Nami sighed. "No, I'm fine. It doesn't really bother me to be honest. What, are you worried that I'm jealous?!" "N-no! I was just worried about you." Nami laughed. "You're too good, Victoria."Robin walked back in, looking fresh & clean. We went downstairs to make pancakes & French toast. Seeing as I was a better cook than the other two, I was mainly the one who was doing the cooking. I let the other two choose garnishes or other things that will go well with the flavor of the pancakes & French toasts. I made sure to save some for Olvia, as I thought that maybe she might want some. "Victoria, what drink would you like? We have apple juice, cranberry juice & chocolate milk." "Hmmmm....cranberry juice, yo." I answered. "Want it watered down? The juice can be quite strong." "Yes please." Robin got the drinks ready, while Nami turned the tv on. Blaring out on the tv, was 'Grease', one of mine & Nami's favourite movies.
"Ayyyyyyye!" I cheered as I served up the plates. "Oh, is this Grease?" Robin asked. "Mmmhmmm! Come on! We need to watch it!" Nami urges. Robin chuckled. "I wasn't saying that we can't." We all sat down, and watched the movie together, eating our breakfast at the same time. Every once in a while, we'd totally diva out to some of the songs..or well, I was the one who was being a diva. Eventually when the movie ended, we actually got off our butts, did the dishes, and gave Olvia her breakfast (which she was delighted to see). Once we were all dressed, we went out & did some shopping. Nami & I had to leave our overnight bag in Robins car, so that we wouldn't have to drag it around.
"Hey....isn't that Sanji?" Nami asked. "Huh, where?" Nami pointed at a restaurant window. Robin & I peered through the window. Inside, I spotted the familiar blond hair & swirly eyebrows. He was taking a order from a table, and then walked away. Then after a couple moments, Sanji appeared outside the side of the restaurant. He was sitting down, and was on his phone. Robin nudged me. "Go & talk to him." "W-what about?" "Anything!" Nami said. "He'll be more than happy to get a chance to talk to you." "I-I dunno about this..." Robin pets my shoulder. "You'll be fine, Victoria. Just talk to him." I stared at Sanji for a moment. I watched with quiet shock when I saw him light a cigarette, then taking a drag.
'Okay, so what? He smokes, thats his decision.'
I sucked in a breath, before walking straight towards where Sanji was sitting. I stood in front of him, my shadow over his form. He looked up at me, then jumped. "V-Victoria-chan?!" I smiled. "You never told me that you were working at the Baratie." I sat down next to him. "Are you on a break?" "Yeah...sorry, I shouldn't be smoking in front of you." "No, its okay. I don't really mind to be honest." He blew out some smoke. "It helps me not think about being hungry." "Hungry?" He nods. "Yeah...I hate that feeling."
'That must be personal. Best to not ask.'
"So," he starts. "what are you doing?" I gestured to my carrier bags. "Shopping with Nami & Robin." "Oh?" "Mhmm, yeah. Nami & I stayed with Robin last night. Once we're doing shopping, I'm getting dropped off." Sanji nods. "That sounds nice..."
Then from inside, we heard:
"OI SANJI! WE NEED YOU BACK IN HERE!"
Sanji sighs, and stands up. He offered me his hand. "Here, let me help you up." I blushed as I took his hand. "T-thanks."
And upon that first touch, my emotions went hay wire. His hands..they felt warm. They were chefs hands:hands that were built for creating culinary art, not to hurt anyone. Sanji pulled me up, but then I tripped on a stone. "Watch out!" Sanji caught me in his arms. We stared at each other. From the distance I was from him, I could see his grey-blue eyes up close. People usually say that grey-blue eyes are boring, but when I look at Sanji's eyes...they seemed more dazzling, and loving compared to other eyes that I've stared in to.
"Got you." He said finally. I chuckled nervously. "Thanks, Sanji. You truly are a gentleman." "Well, I've gotta go now. I'll either text you, or I'll see you at school tomorrow." I smile as I walked backwards out of Sanji's touch radius. "Yeah...I'll see you then.."Sanji went inside, giving me a final smile. As soon as he shut the door, I ran back to Nami & Robin, a big grin on my face. As soon as I got to the other two, I was squealing in my mind. "Did you see that?!?" "We saw the sparks from here." Robin confirmed. "Good thing you were klutzy at the right moment." Nami had a distant look in her eye. "Yeah...that looked absolutely magical." Robin wrapped a arm around my shoulder. "It seems to me that you have ignited the start of a loving flame." Suddenly, I couldn't help but feel excited. My heart was beating like crazy, and I just wanted to stay like this with a smile on my face. Nami chuckled at me, and pets my shoulder. "Come on now, its time for you to go home."
*timeskip*
I waved out to Robins car as they drove off down my street. Luckily, I texted Marco earlier telling him that Robin was dropping me off. I unlocked the front door, and walked inside the house.
'Hmm its quiet.'
"I'm home." I said to no one in particular. I took off my shoes, and walked inside the house, leaving my bags by the front door. I saw that the lounge door was shut, so I opened it up. "Hey Marco! I'm home-HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK?!" I watched as the two adults pulled away from their kiss. Marco sat on the couch, while another woman straddled him close. She had long, wavy, platinum blonde hair, and crimson red eyes. She wore a red shirt, and a pair of black fat pants. She seemed to have a hour glass body, and yet she seemed short. "Oh, hey Victoria, yoi." Before I could yell, I took a deep breath. "Hey...um...I see that you're occupied-"The woman shook her head. "No no! You can stay. I was about to make us some tea. Would you like some?" "Y-yes please."
'Slight German accent?'
She stood up, and left to make some tea. I turned to Marco. "You smooth dude, you never told me that you had a girlfriend!"He rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah...I do, yoi. Forgot to tell you.""So...whats her name?" I asked."Kira." He answered. "She's Ace's girlfriends cousin, yoi.""Oh....well, she seems nice."Marco grinned sheepishly. "She's nice, and hot, yoi. And she makes really good food as well." "Get your ins, man."Kira walked back in with some tea for us. She handed me & Marco a tea cup, then poured us some peach tea. "S-so you're Victoria?" Kira asked as she looked at me. "I'm Kira, Alastor D Lilith Kira." I smile. "Chevallier Victoria. Its a pleasure to meet you." We chat for a bit, before Kira had to go as she had some work to do down at the hospital that she works at. Apparently, she was the doctor who fixed up Marco back when he fell down the stairs a few months back. Marco & I dropped her off at her work, leaving us to do nothing."Hey, yoi. Want a Oreo Mcflurry?" I grin. "You know it!"
