Chapter 48:Photos

Sanji pov

I knocked on the door, and the door swung open to reveal Ace, holding a bottle of beer in his hand. He grinned upon seeing me, Chikage, Nami-chan, Robin-chan & Zoro.

"Hey you guys! Come on in!" Ace said happily as he let us in. "Vixen is just upstairs...you guys go get settled in, and help yourselves to the food. I'm just gonna tell Vixen that you're all here." "Thanks, Ace." Nami said as he walked up the stairs by twos.

We all went inside the lounge, and found that there was some party food set out on the table, along with some fizzy drinks & some juices. Luffy, who was chilling on the couch, was happily eating what literally looked like a whole cow thats been chopped up & cooked to perfection. Nami-chan had already grabbed some chicken nibbles, while Zoro was grumbling about how there was no sake around. Chikage was talking to Robin-chan & his Dad. Marco was fumbling around with his phone.

Then, running into the room, was Kira-chan, Itami-chan, and Adéle-san. Itami looked like she had been crying, but still appeared to be happy.

"Good! Everyone is here." Itami dragged me over to her, "She's really excited!" I smile weakly, "I'm ready." Itami nods, then yelled out to the stairs:

"Come on down, Princess!"

I could hear movement coming down the stairs. My heart was pounding very loudly within my body. Until finally....there she was, wearing that beautiful blue & white ball gown. She looked absolutely beautiful. Her hair looked like it was braided by a professional, and her smile was just so....graceful & elegant...yet so radiant. It literally felt like she lit up the room simply by being in here.

"So?" She asked, "Pretty average, huh?" I took her hand, staring directly into her eyes. "You're so beautiful...I-I've literally run out of things to say." Victoria giggled. "You look like a handsome gentleman."
"I'm not as amazing as you are." I said with a smile.

I was suddenly pushed out of the way by the brute force known as Nami-chan. She was hugging & gawking at Victoria at the same time. All everyone could hear, were the girls talking to each other excitedly, and other compliments. Next to me, Chikage chuckled at Nami-chan's antics. Earlier, Victoria told me that she has a feeling that Chikage & Nami-chan will eventually start dating.

"Alright, alright girlies! How about you all start putting your corsages & your button holes on for each other, hmm?" Astor said. Victoria turned to me, a blue rose button hole in her hand, "Alright! Lets get this on yah!"

Victoria pov

Sanji looked absolutely handsome. He wore a white & blue themed suit that brought out his grey-blue eyes. I just wanted to hold him close to me...and do things with him.

'Get your mind outta the gutter, Vixen! Sure he looks handsome-no thats a understatement...he looks fucking sexy. C-calm down. Its only the ball...good thing I am prepared, and I'm bringing the condom along in my mini hand purse thing.'

I fumbled around with the button hole, and then finally started to put the flower on. As I put it on, I had a small blush on my face, as I could clearly smell his scent of cologne. When it was through, I looked up at Sanji, who was looking down at me, and smiled at him. I stepped back, and held my wrist out to him so that he could put my corsage on me. He got out a white rose corsage that had blue ribbons on it as well.

'It goes completely with my dress...!'

Sanji started to tie the corsage around my wrist, his delicate fingers gliding over my skin. I could sense that everyone was taking photos of Sanji & I. It was causing me to blush even harder. Sanji had a small smile on his lips once he was finished tying the corsage. He then planted a small kiss on my knuckles, his hair brushing over my fingers. He looked back up at me, his smile warm.

"You're so unbelievably beautiful, Victoria. Right now, it feels like you're dimming everyone out simply by breathing." He said as he kissed my cheek. I smiled, "You're amazing." "You're amazinger." I grin, "You're the most amazing."

"Oi, can you both stop flirting, yoi? I wanna take photos." Marco teased. I poked my tongue out at Marco, "Meanie!"

We did group photos first, then photos with only the girls, then photos with only the boys, then funny photos, then we took couple photos. Seeing as Robin & Zoro already had their photos done with Robins Mum, we only did the couple photos for Nami & Chikage, then Sanji & I. Each time Dad took a photo, Mum would wipe away tears of joy for both of her children. Once we finished taking photos, I walked up to Chikage.

"Feeling nervous?" I asked. He nods, "I've never done something like this before! I-I feel like I'll somehow do something wrong that'll upset Miss Nami-" "Okay, 1: Chi-Chi, you're a slick boy, you'll be fine. 2: Only call her Nami. Not Miss Nami or anything like that." Chikage tilted his head to the side, "But why?" "Well..this is a high school prom, not the balls that Mum & Dad drag you to. So just..remember how to talk the 21st century style. And 3: Whatever you do, do NOT drink the fruit juice. Dumb people always spike it with alcohol as a prank." Chikage nods, "Understood."

"Alright everyone, I think its about time that you lot go to the ball already. You guys have a crown to win!" Itami said encouragingly. 

I grabbed my mini purse. And so, us teens started making our way outside. I got into the car with Sanji, with me being in the front seat. The others were being driven there in Itami's prado truck. Sanji & I drove off before Itami could even start her truck up. I look over to Sanji, who put his hand on my leg.

"I don't care about what other people say. You're so damn beautiful, and you will win that crown." He stated.
