Victoria pov "Man that pool is nice & right..." Robin sighs as we had a bath together. "Oh yeah, definitely!" Nami agrees. "I agree." I twisted some water out of my hair. "Was actually my first time swimming in there. I've been meaning to swim, but I never get around to it." Nami gave me a look. "What?" I asked. "The garden here is so pretty! Flowers are pretty!"
After a moment of silence, we all cracked up laughing. After being in the cleansing bath, we all got out & put on some comfier clothes/pajamas. We were called downstairs to have dinner, which was pulled pork in buns with a side of mashed potatoes, beans & corn.
"This place is so amazing." Nami stated. Mum chuckled. "Thank you, thank you. You both are more than welcome to come back." When Nami looked at me, her eyes were glowing. Robin smiled. "Thank you very much."
"So..." Chikage starts. "I heard that you have a school ball coming up?" "Oh yeah! We do, don't we?" Nami asked. "Have you got your dress yet?" Robin & I shook our heads. "The dress maker in town has some drab stuff. What about you, Nami?" "Nah. As you said, the dresses in town are drab." Nami pouts. "And besides, all the good dresses are so expensive."
Chikage looked at our parents, who gave him a nod. Chikage then looks at us three girls, and had a brilliant smile; a smile that was making Nami blush millions.
"How fortunate that I know someone who makes exquisite ball gowns."
My eyes went wide, and I literally had the most ridiculous grin on my face. "YOU DO?!" Chikage nods. "Mmmhmm." He then looks at Nami & Robin. "Of course, seeing as your friends don't have a ball gown yet either, I'm happy to offer them some dresses as well." Nami had glowing eyes. "Really?!" "I-I couldn't.." Robin whispers. "Please, I insist." Chikage said with a slight beg.
Immediately, I was running towards Chikage, and I hugged him. We spun around as I hugged him.
"Awww little brother! You're a sweetheart!" I coo. "Ehheheh...thanks Victoria." Nami pushed me out of the way to hug my brother. "Thank you so much!" Chikage blushed. "Its alright..I really don't mind helping. We can all go tomorrow."
'HOLD UP! Chi-Chi...and Nami...HMMM.'
"Hey Nami, didn't you say that you don't have a date?" I asked. Chikage quirked his eyebrows at Nami. "Really?" Nami blushed. "Yeah, but its okay-" "I'll be your date." Chikage said quickly.
'I KNEW IIIIIT!'
"O-oh you don't have to..." Nami stammers. "I simply cannot ignore a lonely woman. It'd be horribly rude of me." Chikage said.
I looked over to Mum & Dad, who were watching the whole scene with a slightly surprised look on their faces. I then looked back at Nami & Chikage, who were staring at each other. Finally, Nami smiled.
"Yeah...I like the sound of that." Chikage smiled. "Good, then its a date!"
That got Nami flustered. A sight so rare, you might as well by seeing a dragon for the first time.
After dinner, we had showers & put face masks onto our faces. We put on a couple movies, and did each others nails.
"So..." I started. "Getting on with Chi-Chi?" I asked no one in particular. Nami blushed. "Y-your brother is nice.." Robin nudged her. "You have a crush~?" Nami playfully punched Robin. "Sssh!" "Hey if you wanna date him, then I'm cool with it. Chikage will be good." "Its not that...its just, I haven't even talked to him properly.." "Nah thats all good. I'll get you two to talk. You watch me!" I declared.

The next morning, we all had breakfast, and then we all got dressed up so that we can go ball dress shopping/get one specially made. I told Marco that afterwards, I'm being dropped off. The person that Chikage knew, was apparently a really good friend of his during his childhood (the one where I wasn't there). The place was in town, and appeared to be fit for people of high class.
"Woah..."
Our eyes sparkled upon the interior of the store. I suddenly felt underdressed. All the ball gowns looked absolutely amazing, they ranged from different colours, styles & fabric. I reattained my attention when I saw Chikage warmly greet a guy around his age..but tall. He had messy black hair & sharp dark grey eyes. He wore a three piece black & grey suit.
"Girls, this is my good family friend, Ambrose Kokona." Ambrose smiled, mainly at me. "You must be Victoria. Chikahe here has told me a lot about you." I grin. "Really? Good things?" "Every single piece of it." I giggled. "Well, these are my best friends, Nami & Robin. We came here hoping that you might have a dress for us for our school ball thats coming up?" Ambrose nods. "Of course I do. First of all, I'n going to have to measure you all up."
Ambrose lead us to another part of the room, where we could be measured. Afterwards, he set us off to chose our dresses. Nami & Robin appeared to know exactly what they were getting? Whereas me? I dunno where to even start.
"Hmmm..." Chikage took my hand. "I know where to start you."
Chi-Chi lead me towards the dark blue coloured dresses. I had a slight childish fear that if I touched one, they'll immediately deteriorate. Chikage showed me this one dress that I absolutely fell in love with:

"I think you'll look absolutely amazing in this." Chikage states. I ran my fingers through the skirt. "Its..perfect." Chikage hands it to me. "Try it on."
