"Okay Vixen, I'm going to need you to open up your shirt for me." Kira said.
"But why?" I asked.
She got out the stethoscope. "Because, the doctors want me to check your heart rate for some weird doctors precaution."
Kira plugged her the stethoscope ear pieces in her ears. I did as I was told, and opened up my shirt for Kira. Kira pressed the cold, silver piece onto my chest, and listened to my heart beat from different parts. She took the plate off me, then pressed her hand gently against my forehead.
"You feel a bit warm.." She said.
"Thats because the other doctors wouldn't let me have ice cream when its hot." I said with a childish pout.
Kira chuckled, and pecks my forehead. "I'll get you something. Do you want ice cream or a drink?"
I put a finger to my lips. "A punnet of cookies & cream ice cream, please?"
"Sure, I'll be right back."
Kira left to go grab me a ice cream. I started to do up my shirt, and stayed sitting up, my pillow pet in my arms.
'I'm so excited. I want to leave this damn hospital so that I can have a girls night with Nami & Robin.'
Kira walked back in with a whole big tub of ice cream. My eyes dazzled at the glorious sight. Kira chuckled as she stared at my reaction.
"Seeing as the other nurses & doctors adore you, they gave you the whole tub instead of a scoop. Though, I won't tell the nutritionist here, other wise he'd throw a hissy fit." Kira said as she set up my table, and put the tub of ice cream down.
I grinned at her. "Thanks, o' wise doctor!"
She laughed. "You weirdo."
Kira sat down next to me. "So, I have good news. Seeing as you healed up faster than we expected, you're allowed to go home today."
"Really?" I asked happily.
"Yes, really." Kira tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. "Though, just between you & me, the doctors told me that they're going to miss your positive attitude. They've even asked me to bring you here more often."
I giggled. "Wow, I must've done something to make them all like me."
"You charmed them, and managed to hold very good conversations with them. Not a lot of teenage patients are ever polite & charismatic to us hospital staff anymore." Kira said with a sigh.
I took a spoonful of ice cream, and my eyes were sparkly once more.
'This is amaaaaazing! This is probably better than Tip Top ice cream.'
"So whats the first thing you're gonna do when you leave?" Kira asked.
I swallowed my spoonful. "Nami & Robin wanna do girls night at mine."
Then Kira whispered, "What about you know...Marco? And Ace, and Thatch?"
I shrug. "Remember? They already know now, when I got..." I then whispered. "Kidnapped..?"
Kira nods slowly. "Right, right..you told them not to tell anyone, eh."
"I made them swear a oath just ti make sure. With candles & everything." I state.
"Jesus damn..." Kira muttered.
*timeskip*
A knock on the door came on my door, I looked up from my book, The sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya, and saw that Kira had walked in with my over night bag, and her handbag.
"Marco is just waiting down in reception." She informed.
"Sweet."
"So, are you ready to go?"
I nod. "Definitely."
Kira helped me out of my bed, and packed away my things for me. I had some trouble walking, since I've been lying in bed for most of the time. Kira helped me walk out to the car, and hoped in with us.
"Good to have you back, yoi." Marco said as he scruffs my hair.
I grin. "Did ya miss me?"
"We all did, yoi. Now...McDonald's?"
I nod enthusiastically. "Definitely."
