Chapter 2:Sanji

Victoria pov
We finished class, and finally it was lunch time. It seemed like everyone was racing each other for food. I would run but, its Monday, I don't run on Mondays.

"So, what do you think of the school so far?" Nami asked.
I point a finger on my lip..its a thinking habit. "Well...its definitely better than my last school. And so far, no bitch has tried to step me up yet."

"You got into fights?" She asked.
"Oh yeah, a lot. Mainly girls. Sometimes a boy would try to have a go, but nah...after the fight, Marco would hunt them down."
Nami sweat drops nervously. "W-wow.."
"Yeah, but oh well. Thats only been like that since I was seven..but thats not important anymore. Whats more important...is food!"

We arrived at the canteen, and bought ourselves some food. Nami bought fruit salad & a mince pie. I bought 2 minute ramen, blueberry muffin & some rice. Nami then lead me outside to where the group usually sits. Immediately, I spotted Luffy's Straw hat, and Zoro's moss hair. They were all sitting on a bench under a big tree, the school building surrounding us. Luffu waved at me.

"Yo! We saved you a seat!"
"Thanks."

Nami & I sat down. I looked at everyone's lunches, and found that they were keeping it away from Luffy, so I did the same.

"Victoria was just explaining to me about how she got into fights." Nami said.
Zoro raised his eyebrows.
"Whoa, really?" Ussop asked.
I nod. "Yeah. Though it was always the opponents fault. They were being little bitches."
Luffy laughed. "Thats funny!"
"How bold.." Robin comments as she sips some of her tea.
"Why did they do that?" Zoro asked.
I pouted. "Because of how tall I am...how salty I am.."

It is true, I am short, compared to most people my age. Though, I'm only a couple inches shorter than Luffy. Where I come from, I'm considered short, and since I haven't grown since year 7, I'm not pretty much short.

"Whaaat but you're not short." Ussop said.
"I dunno..its what I get told." I said.
"Well, don't believe what they say!" Nami said. "They're not you! They don't know you, and only assume what you're like!"
I grin. "Thanks."

I look up from our table, and spot someone coming over to us. He seemed about our age. He actually dressed up nicely. He had blond hair, a goatee and stubble on his lip, he had his right eye covered, and showed a...curly eyebrow?

'Eyebrows on fleek.'

Zoro spotted him as well. "Oi, Dartboard brow, you're late."
"Shut up, Algae!" The blond guy hissed.
"Sanji, sit down. You have to meet our new friend."
"Yes Nami-chan~!"

Nami then gestured to me. "Sanji, I would like for you to meet Che...Che..how do you say your last name?"
I chuckled. "Chevallier."
"Oh, right! This is Chevallier Victoria. She's new! Victoria, this is Vinsmoke Sanji."

I swept my eyes over to Sanji. He stared at me, a small blush on his face. I couldn't help but stare at his eyes. They were a cool, blue-grey. From here, I could faintly smell smoke, and spices emitting from him..it was almost intoxicating.

"Its nice to meet you." I started. "Nami & Robin have told me about you."

Sanji pov
As soon as I saw the girl in front of me, I couldn't help but stop in my tracks. Although I do say it a lot...but it must be said:

She's probably the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

"Its nice to meet you." She said with warmth. "Nami & Robin have told me about you."

I swallowed my nerves as I swept my eyes over her entire form.

'I want to put flowers in her hair.'

Finally, I smiled at Victoria. "Its nice to meet you, Victoria-chan~."
She laughed. "Chab? I've never had that honorific before."
Zoro clicked his tongue. "You'll soon get annoyed by it."
"Oh shut up, Moss." I growled.

Victoria pov
Robin then chuckled. "Well, now that we're all here, lets talk about after school. Are we going to go to the mall?"
"Oh yeah, I can make it." Ussop said.
"Whats happening after school?" I asked.
"We're all gonna go the mall for a couple of hours." Nami explained. "And of course, you're coming with us as well."
"Cool! Thanks!"

"Sanji-kun? You coming?" Nami asked.
"But of course, Nami-chan." We caught eye contact. "I wanna get to know Victoria-chan."
"Really? I'm kind of dull." I said.
"I bet you're not." Robin complimented.

And so, we sat around, talking & organizing for after school today. Of course, I texted Marco about whats happening, and he was fine with it. He told me to bring home Luffy, as Ace is coming over.

"Yo, Luffy. You're coming home with me." I said.
"Aye what?! Why?"
"Apparently Ace is at mine, hanging with Marco." I explained. "Ace is probably gonna take you home."
Luffy grinned. "Cool! Is there gonna be food?"
"I'll make us something."

But what I didn't notice, was that Sanji was silently giving Luffy a strange stare.
