Want to know my least favorite thing in the world, Monday mornings, especially this one. Homecoming was in two weeks and everyone was being all cute and asking each other out. Of course Camren was going, that was given which meant that they wanted to drag me with them, which I did not want. Everyone was annoying on these days. Its on these days I felt a hole in my heart. I walked up to my locker and saw the one and only Joshua Dun standing there. Thank god no sign.

"Hi josh." I said opening my locker shoving my books in. He smiled at me pretending to read his essay.

"You know we have to answer question for the essay right?" I asked him as he looked at me like I had just killed his best friend.

"Like what inspired you to write this essay?" I said about one of the question I had seen.

"Cereal." He said and I laughed. "Tyler wouldn't let me eat till i finished."

"Hello Dinah." I heard Tyler, josh's best friend approach us. "I heard my name." Tyler said handing josh a small box of cereal. He ripped the box open and eat it all.

"Oh yeah just talk about our english essays." I said waving mine with fake enthusiasm in front of his face. He nodded and took his out.

"Intro to English literature the best class." I heard Lauren join us. "Hello Joshy." She said petting his pink hair. He scrunched his face when Camila came up and frowned.

"Hello Lauren, Camila." Tyler said kissing Camila's hand. This time Lauren frowned.

"Keep your paws off my girlfriend." She said kissing Camila's cheek.

"Keep your paws off my boyfriend." Tyler said kissing Josh's cheek.

"Fine."

"Fine."

And then they were both gone. I laughed and closed my locker along with Josh's walking down the hall.

"Hello Miss Hansen." I heard Normani approach. She was extremely nervous as she was fidgeting with her bracelets and her fingers. "So I was thinking... um maybe we could, if you wanted to, we could uhm go to-"

"Hello Dinah, Normani. Dinah can I have a word Dinah?" This guy from the baseball team asked. I think his name was louis but I didn't know. 

"Sure. Can this wait Normani?" I asked not really giving her a choice. She nodded sadly as Louis pulled me to the side.

"So I was thinking maybe we could go to homecoming together?" He asked and I smiled.

"Sure I wasn't going to go with anyone." I said and saw Normani walk away towards Ally. This is perfect I could finally get my mind off the older girl. Her back was towards me as Louis left and I could see Ally frown at her. Keaton or whatever walked in and Normani placed her hand on his arm in a flirty way. I felt my chest starting to burn at the sight.

"Yeah sure I would love to go with you Normani." Keaton said loudly and I got even madder. She leaned forward hugging him and she kissed his cheek.

I finished the day on a sour note. I was really mad the whole day about Normani and Keaton. The fuckboy thinks he can come in and take Normani from me.

Whoa, wait what did I just think? Normani wasn't... mine. No dont think like this Dinah. My thoughts went to Normani's hips and her lips. Her damn lips. They were softer than the cloud in heaven. Her mouth was warm and her eyes were perfect. She was perfect.

2 week had pasted since I had even made eye contact with Normani. She wouldn't look at me or talk to me. We had spoken but she was over at my house last night because her dad and mine had a "business dinner". They were life long friends. Her mom, her dad, my mom, and my dad had known each other since elementary school. I said remembering last night.
