Dinahs POV

I was walking with Camila out of the funeral home as she cried. There was a black limo waiting there, I wonder who it was?

"Who is that?" I asked as it stopped right outside. The door opened and Lauren stepped out. Camila was too overwhelmed and she and Lauren hugged at the same time.

"I love you so much." Lauren whispered against her neck. Camila cried so hard. I may be captain but gross. Camila buried her head into Lauren's neck. Ewwww.

"Hey Camila-" she backed up with puffy eyes and stared at me. "I have to go to school, I'll see you later." I said rubbing her arm. She nodded burying her face back into Lauren's neck.

"Gross." I whispered walking towards my car and getting in. I was aloud to be excused for the day, for Camila's sake, but I wanted to go and see Normani.

I groaned getting out of my car heading up to my room to change out of my funeral dress and into some more causal clothes. I put on jeans and a jacket walking out back to my car heading to school. It was 12 already. I got out of my car making my way into the school as I then made my way to the front office.

"Hello Dinah." Mrs Ryan said handing me a tardy slip. I smiled and made my way to honors chemistry sitting down next to my lab partner, who happened to be Ally. She was writing with her head down as I walked in.

It was a very awkward class. Afterwards I walked out talking to Ally about a project we were assigned to.

"So I guess you can come to my house? Or I'll come to yours, whatever works." Ally said smiling. I stopped in my tracks and so did she.

"Or I could do it all?" She asked scared.

"Your house." I said leaving her alone to go to my locker very fast. I had lunch next. I didn't want to eat in the cafeteria because I had no friends so I left for the library.

"Dinah." I heard a low whisper and a paper ball hit the back of my head. I turned around and saw Shawn Mendes there. He was walking slowly and crouching. Our librarian was so strict. Absolutely no talking.

I unrolled the note and read it.

"Is Lauren here?" It said I rolled my eyes.

"No, whats up?" Shawn was on the basketball team and the baseball team. He and Troy were great friends and he had a huge crush on Lauren.

"I need to talk to her Normani asked me to tell her something." It said and I furrowed my eyebrows. "But I cant tell you so dont ask."

"I wasn't going too, I dont care."

"Oh so how are you doing?" He asked through note.

"Fine, why do you ask?" He started writing his response when I ripped the paper out of his hands.

"Hey what are you-"

"Shhhh!" The librarian said shushing us. I rolled my eyes as I saw Lauren walking in.

"Hey Laur-" I said quietly and waving. Shawn looked over his shoulder and saw Lauren. He looked at me upset as I looked at him confused. What he did next shocked me.
