I was sitting in my dorm room doing my astrophysics homework. I got a call on my phone not expecting it to be Normani so when it was I was shocked.

"Hey, turn on the radio." Normani screamed and then hung up. Well that was a disappointment. I turned on Kiss FM and heard Normani's new single playing. It was called "Invisible Strings" which she wrote about our relationship being long distance. It was one of my favorite song she wrote except track five. I got all the songs that didn't go on the album and were unreleased. Sadly they didn't get titles. I heard a knock on the door and Daya walked in throwing herself on her bed and sighed dramatically.

"What?" I asked turning around in my desk and looking at the younger one. She opened one eye and looked my way.

"I am going to flunk." She said annoyed and I turned back around finishing my homework and closing my binder.

"Oh shut up G, you literally are the smartest kid I know." In the five months that I had gotten to known Daya/Grace we became pretty close. Normani called me again as Daya opened her mouth to talk.

"So baby... My song was on the radio." I could feel her smiling over the phone. Her album had dropped last week and it already hit number one with the number one single Invisible Strings. I smiled and slammed my astrophysics book.

"Hows the studying going?" As much as I wanted to be an astronaut, I was sticking to engineering. Shockingly astrophysics was part of the major. I left the room grabbing my key and my backpack. Since it was the weekend and I was aloud to leave campus I was going to meet Camila & Lauren halfway home. Camila didn't get accepted into any colleges because of her arrest... so Lauren, being Lauren, decided to take the year off. Grace knew that I was leaving so she said bye as I walked out.

"Awful, I give up I'm just going to meet C&L now." I said starting my car and turning on the radio. I heard her say a quiet 'mhm'.

"What are you doing?" I asked her since there was more background noise.

"I am about to go on live radio, with Ry." She said happily. I hadn't seen Normani since she left for the airport on graduation day. I had decided May 26th was my least favorite day of the year. I backed out of the college dorms and started going on the highway towards a library.

"Live radio huh, fancy." I said in a mocking tone. She laughed and we talked for a few more minutes until she hung up. I went on Kiss FM and waited for her voice.

"Alright alright alright, I am here with the one and only Normani Kordei Hamilton. Now Normani how does it feel to actually have heard your song on the radio?" He asked and I turned up the volume.

"Um well it's probably the second best feeling in the world? I mean everyone says performing and singing are the best feeling in the world, usually if your a singer, but it has to be my second favorite." She said and I kinked and eyebrow.

"Oh and whats the best feeling might I ask?" He asked her and I looked straight ahead not fully paying attention.

"Probably cuddling with my girlfriend." I felt myself blushing and bit my lip. "Actually making cookies or laying on the roof is my favorite." She said and I laughed because those were both songs off her album.

"Are we talking about the album or the actual action?"  He asked and I snorted.

"Well why do you think they're on the album?" She asked cockily.
