"Dinah-"

"Please Normani, I dont want to be alone." I whispered sitting up from the couch. She sighed walking back over to me.

"Okay. But I need pajamas." She whispered once she got back to me. I nodded as she laid down again with me and rested her head on top of mine. She backed up after a few minutes and I could see into her eyes. I looked at them and I felt at home. Like nothing could harm me.

Normani brushed a hair off of my face and cupped my cheek with her hand. "Normani-"

"Just one." She pleaded already leaning in. I didn't stop her because I wanted it too, if not more. I leaned forward and captured her lips in a captivating kiss. The first thing I felt was fireworks. Then a sunset. Then a million fireflies. It was so ethereal i wanted to capture in a bottle. That feeling, and then I realized what it was.

Love.

Or lust?

Whatever it was I wanted her. I wanted more of her. She was perfect.

She pulled leaving me in a pit of butterflies. I still felt the tingle from where are lips touched.

"Are you sure we'll be able to sleep in the same bed?" She asked me with a tiny smirk. I smiled a little and shoved her.

"I can control myself."

"Unlike me, I'm trying so hard not to kiss you again." She whispered getting closer.

"Who is stopping you." I said tracing over her lips with my finger. Her breath hitched and she looked down at my finger.

"I guess nothing." She said leaning in again. I backed up putting my hand on her lips.

"We should get ready for bed." I said getting off of her and walking towards my room. She groaned, very loudly and dramatically i might add as I walked up stairs.

"Race you." Normani yelled running past me to my room.

"No fair!!" I screamed and saw her frozen in the middle of my room. Her eyes went to my scissors that I had on the floor. She gulped before turning around frozen in her spot.

"Dinah-"

"I didn't-"

"Show me your arms." She begged tearing up. I put both of my arms out and revealed dozens of tiny bruises. She gasped and chocked out the tears covering her mouth. I looked away from my arms and she placed her hands on them to examine them.

"What happened?" She asked looking up at me in tears. I tried to avoid her eyes but it was the only place I could look.

"It was an accident-"

"Tell me what happened. Did he do this to you? Louis?" She yelled angry now.

"No he wouldn't-"

"Jay. That bastard I'm gonna kill him!" She screamed trying to leave my room. I blocked her.

"No he'll hurt you." I pleaded. She looked at me and her eyes were broken. "Please Normani no." I said crying as she tried to move past me again.

"He hurt you." She whispered looked down at my arms again. "Did he do that to your eye too?" I nodded shyly. We were both crying now.
