Normani's POV

Arriving at the tall building in Los Angelos I started getting nervous. I was literally having a panic attack right there. Dinah was currently touring the university and giving me minute updates. It sounded pretty awesome. I decided to go in and nervously spoke with the desk manager.

"Hello, you must be Normani?" He asked pronouncing my name wrong, shockingly. I nodded and he handed me a card pointing me towards the elevator.

I rode up silently listening to elevator music and getting mods anxious. You know that feeling where your legs are numb, and you fingers and too. Yes that was what I was feeing. When I got up they directed me towards his office and I knocked on the door.

"And tomorrow you have an appointment with Joel...." There was a tall middle-aged lady standing there with a iPad. He signaled for her to stop talking and she closed the iPad case turning and exiting. Her was a large man. Very intimidating. He had a suit on and he was very scary. He motioned to the seat in front of him as I sat down nervously.

"It is very nice to meet you Miss Hamilton. I loved your cover of 'Daddy Lessons', I mean obviously. I would like to review your contract before you sign." He said pushing the stack of papers forwards. We read through. The contract stated I had to make at least three albums and do two tours. I was happy with the terms and signed before leaving to go look around the city. They were offering me a company owned house and I didn't have to pay rent. I called Dinah to see how her tour was going.

Dinahs POV

I was actually extremely excited that both Zayn was going to UW. Mostly because Zayn was actually really cool. He was extremely nice to me the tour. Speaking of....

"Here you go." He said extending his hand so I could get off the bus. I was texting Normani about the campus as they led us around.

"And here we have the chemistry lab, for all you chem majors." Our tour guide winked a little too perky. I looked at the map as Zayn started flirting with Gigi. I sighed and continued walking.

"Now I hear that we have someone majoring in engineering?" The tour guide asked again and I shyly raised my hand. She individual talked to me about the lab were people made things and did their engineering... stuff. I was either going to be an engineer or a math major. I mean I was extremely good at math.

"My name is Ariana, I'm actually an engineer." The tour guide introduced and I smiled. We continued the tour as Zayn walked by me.

"Strike out?" I asked as he looked down defeated.

"Yes, shes tough." He said and his eyes trailed. I laugh and shoved him a little as my phone buzzed. "Good ahead answer." He whispered.

"Hello." I said dragging the 'o' and smiling as we stopped at another lab. Apparently the school was better for the sciences than the arts. Math and science were actually very easy for me. As much as I hated to admit I was smart.

"Hows the tour going, beautiful?" Normani asked over the phone as we continued walking. The campus was big I must admit.

"It's good, but I'm bored. How was the contract signing?" I asked too excitedly.

"Good I get to make three albums, so I wanted to see if we could go out tonight?" She asked and I smiled. We hadn't been out for a while.

"Of course. We have to celebrate your win." I said grinning.

"Hey your going to the college of your dreams, you win too." She said again. I laughed and nodded.

"I'll pick you up when I get back." We finished the tour with the dorms and the cafeteria. There were two dorm building including one for girls and one for guys. They were each on opposite sides of the campus too. The cafeteria hall was huge. We spent the rest of the tour exploring on our own. I drove home after the two broke so I could get ready for my date.

Normani got home at 6 and I was already in my jeans and sweater. She was in her casual clothes and I smiled.

"I'm to lazy to actually take you out so I thought dinner and a movie." She said holding up Chinese food and "10 Reason Why I Hate You." I smiled as she walked in and placed the food down. We watched the movie and ate dinner on the couch laughing at the movie. I pointed out everything wrong with it.

"So I want to go on the roof." She said and I raised my eyebrows.

"Why?" I asked and she shrugged. We carefully went on the roof through my window and sat up by the chimney. We turned the fire place on so smoke would come out. Normani also gave me her jacket. We laid on the roof and she pointed out constellations.

"There we go." She said finding the little dipper.

"Dinah I know we agreed to make this work but-"

"Were not breaking up." I said and she sighed.

"Dinah, you're supposed to experience things in college and be free, and I dont want to drag you down."

"Hey Nobody could drag me down. Not even you." I said kissing her.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

(A/n: okay I'm blocked really badly also I have band practice like everyday because my high school is marching in the thanksgiving day parade
