I felt Normani reaching for the hem of my sweatshirt which I happily let her take off. She had already guided us over to the couch without disconnecting our lips and I had no idea what was happening. She took it off in one quick motion and my glasses too. When I felt her reach for my shirt I broke the kiss and held her hand. She furrowed her eyebrows and looked at me confused.

"I'm sorry I dont-" she said stuttering and getting off of me as realization hit her.

"No don't apologize Mani." I grabbed her wrist. "I made the first move I just dont know what happened. We cant do... that." I said quietly and she nodded looking disappointed.

"We should get to work." She said completely dismissing the topic. She walked over to her backpack that was on the ground and pulled out her own laptop placing it across from mine. I got up and went to mine still researching.

After a few hours of research we still hadn't talked about it once. We would occasionally steal glances with each other but she would always burn holes into my head, I felt it. We only talked when it involved Cleopatra or Medusa. At 5 pm Normani's mom, who I'm guessing didn't know about her anorexia, had called her and told her they were coming home one day early and would be there for dinner. She quickly packed up her stuff and left.

I heard the doorbell ring a few minutes later thinking it was Normani.

"Hey M- oh its you." I said with disappointment.

"Fucking rude. Let me in I have a problem." Lauren said pushing me aside and throwing her purse down walking towards the couch.

She took one deep breath but her eyes widened in horror as she took in my features. "What the hell is this Dinah?!" Lauren asked grabbing my face. "Okay after you help me I'm going to kill him."

"Dont bother I did it. I broke up with him." I said as she let out a sigh of relief. Her eyes then got glossy.

"Uhm... Camila and I had a big fight and I think..." She let out a shaky breath continuing. This was bad. The golden couple had never fought. "...I think she is going to break up with me." She said crying.

"You and walz will be fine Ralph."

"I dont think so." If they broke up I don't even know what world i would even be living in. For as long as I could possibly remember it had always been us three. If Camila broke up with Lauren then I'm guessing she would leave us. It be us two, that would be weird. Lauren had the courage to ask Camila to the dance in 7th grade. Thankfully she didn't ruin anything by asking because Camila said yes. Just a reminder she was 12 when lauren asked her. We were now 17 I mean thats 5 years they had been together without ruining their relationship. If they broke up now it would ruin everything.

"She... she would never." I said having faith in my best friend. Just if as on cue Lauren phone rang with the custom ring tone.

"H-hey." Lauren stuttered out put her phone on speaker. "What-"

"Cut it out Lauren. Just come over so we can talk." Camila hung up and Lauren gulped standing in the middle of my house.

"I have to go I'll call you later." She said racing over to Camila's house. Lauren had always been my best friend, along with Camila of course. They knew everything about me, from my rapist abusive ex boyfriend to my favorite movie being lilo and stitch. I'm pretty sure they even knew about that time I tried to prove Beyoncé was my biological mother, but they didn't know about my thoughts on Normani, or my new ones.
