Cassie was given up by her birth parents when she was born. She grew up in a foster system. Her original name was Hannah but when her parents adopted her they changed her name to Cassie.
Shes lived in the same big house near the beach since she was 2. Her parents can give her anything she wants but she would rather work for what she wants. Shes always been spoiled. Shes Daddy's little girl. Shes closer to her adoptive Dad. Her adoptive Mom does not trust Cassie. Cassie doesn't know why. Maybe its cause shes older now.
Now she is 17. She always keeps to herself. She doesn't trust easily. She works at a small Starbucks down the street from her school. She has no friends because she doesn't talk to anyone at school unless she is forced to.
She has good grades. She isn't the best student in the school but she pays attention to everything that goes on in school.
She knows all the rumors and gossip. She knows who's dating even if its secret. She knows who the bullies are and who the mean girls are. She knows which clique is what but she doesn't say a word.
She thinks this year is going to be just a normal year as usual...
She is dead wrong.
She is going to have to face many things. Some good and Some bad.
She will meet many people along her journey this year.
Some will be lessons, Others will be Blessings.
She will have to chose what life she really belongs to. The one shes lived her entire life or the new one coming her way.
