School's Out!

Chapter 4

When they arrived back at the Spencer's, Squid went straight to his room. He had to clear his head and figure out what was going on. Downstairs, Tom, Ash and Tyson were all discussing a specific matter at hand.
"What's up with Squid?" Tyson asked
"I don't know, all he kept saying was, it's unsafe and that we should come home" Tom stated
"I'll go talk to him, see if he will speak up" Ash said and walked upstairs. In Squid's room, he was looking at himself in the mirror without his shirt on at the gun wounds he had received that night when he was saving Ash. He then had a load of flashbacks hit him all at once.
Flashbacks:
Then suddenly the lights turned off and everyone screamed. Ash and Squid were wondering what the hell was going on. Ash felt someone grab him
"Squid help!" Ash yelled.
"Ash where are you! Agh!" Squid yelled as he was hit in the head with something and he was knocked out.
"Hello David" Heath greeted
"Heath, what do you want?" Squid questioned
"Oh I don't want anything I'm just telling you that, we have Ash and he is very weak" Heath said
"If you put one finger on him I will kill you" Squid stated
"Oh I'll show you him" Heath said showing Squid Ash who was getting beaten up by Casey.
Ash was then pushed against a wall and fell to the floor and didn't move.
"Ash! Ash no! Leave him alone! Heath stop! Ash wake up!" Squid yelled.
"Ash!" I yell and he turns his head.
I then reach him.
"No Squid don't ,you need to leave now, it's not safe here, just leave!" Ash yells
"No, I'm not leaving with out you" I say as I undo the rope around his wrists
"Squid just..." Ash was then interrupted by a loud bang.
I feel something in my stomach. I look down and see blood covering my shirt. I then realised, I had been shot and I fall to the ground struggling to breath.
"Squid!" Ash yelled my name and Heath stands in front of me with a gun pointed at me.
"You shouldn't of come" Heath said and shot me again and everything went black.
End of flashbacks.
Squid falls to the ground as his stomach starts to hurt. He is also crying from the memories which keep on playing over and over again. He now realises he is not safe what so ever. Ricki is out there and not inside, in jail along with the others. She is walking on the street. The street that Squid has to walk on,the street of death. Ash then comes into the room to see Squid on the floor crying and holding his stomach.
"Squid what's up?" Ash asked kneeling down beside him. Squid then let it all out.
"Ricki isn't in jail, we aren't safe. Health lied, he wants me dead and you harmed. I saw her today. I'm so scared Ash, what's going to happen to us? What's going to happen?" Squid cried.
Ash froze as soon as he heard Ricki wasn't in jail. He started shaking a lot. Downstairs, Tom was wondering what was taking Ash so long and went up there to check on them. When he did, he saw both boys on the ground petrified.
"Hey guys, what's wrong, hello" Tom said trying to get there attention but they were in a trance, they both wouldn't stop shaking. "Ashley! David!" Tom yelled which got their attention. " what's wrong?" Tom asked
"Ricki was never in jail" Squid said.
"What?" Tom asked
"I saw Ricki at the park, she tried to hurt me but luckily, you guys came in time. Heath lied to us and wants me dead. Why is this happening Tom? Why?" Squid cried and was still holding his stomach from the pain that was surging inside.
"Squid stop crying your hurting yourself" Tom said. Squid stopped crying but kept breathing heavily.
"We're both scared Tom, we thought this was over but it's not" Ash sighed
"Come on, you guys need to come downstairs, we'll talk down there while you two calm down ok" Tom said and they both nodded and followed.
When they were down there, Tyson was half asleep in a chair.
"Tyson get up, Ricki is back" Tom ordered which got Tyson up immediately.
"What do you mean by Ricki being back?" Tyson asked
"She hurt Squid today and tried to kill him"
"Is that idiot back again, I thought she was in jail"
"Well she was never caught" Squid stated from behind Tom.
"Should we let the others know?" Ash asked
"No, we need to keep this on the down low or otherwise she will kill me. She said if I told anyone she would and I've already put myself at risk by telling you guys"
"Squid's right, if Ricki finds out he told us, that's when the troubles start brewing" Tom agreed.
"Well, thank god we are going on holiday, that way we can avoid Ricki" Tyson sighed
"Yeah, hopefully" Squid mumbled
"What's that Squid?" Ash asked
"Nothing"
"Well, just for now, Squid, anytime you go out of the house, you take either me or Tyson with you, is that understood?" Tom questioned and Squid nodded.
But what they didn't know was that this was only the beginning of the nightmares.
