Chapter 12

Post 'I love you' bliss when you feel like nothing can touch you, when nothing can bring you down, when you feel so happy you can forgive just about anything even a beautiful but crazy girlfriend waking you up at the ass-crack of dawn.
I'm in this magical place with rainbows and unicorns floating on a cloud with a banquet laid out in front of me when I'm rudely interrupted by the shreaking sound of my phone's ringtone. I try to ignore it but it doesn't stop. I open my eyes and stare up at the white ceiling promising myself to kill whoever is on the other side.When I pick it up, Blue's name flashes on the screen. "You better be dead Blue because when I get my hands on you, you will really be."
"So much love for me, I love you too babe," she replies making me smile when what I want to do is be mad as hell.
"Babe, its like 4am in the night?"
"Its only 5am you sleepy head,l and I need you."
"If you woke me up at five because you're horny baby I promise I'm going to beat your ass," I caution her.
She laughs and I can imagine her toothy grin wherever she is.
"Why does it always have to be about sex with you?"
"Me!? Bl_"
"Riley, who are you talking to at this hour?" Shae's sleepy voice interrupts me from across the room. I had completely forgotten I have a roommate.
"Sorry, didn't mean to wake you." "It's just some pain in the neck I know." I add the last part especially for Blues ears.
"I can be a pain anywhere you want baby," she replies through the phone and I imagine her winking at me creepily too.
I roll my eyes at her silly antiques and whisper because I don't want to wake Shae up again. "Is there a reason you woke me up Blue?"
"First, don't roll your eyes at me and two yes, told you I needed you and not for sex this time much as I wouldn't mind that too."
"What for then oh yee mysterious one?"
She laughs at my classical English attempt then replies, "I don't know much about classical English but I'm sure you just murdered it."
"How would you know, you don't know much ab_" she cuts me off mid sentence.
"Step outside babe," she says.
"Step...what?"
"Simple English, step.outside," she repeats slowly like she's talking to a child.
"I know English you dwanz and I'm not a child."
"If you say so," she teases. "I'm right outside your place so come out."
"No you're not!" She can't be.
"Riley just step outside and see for yourself," she says firmly.
I get up and creep out in my p.js but its 5 o'clock in the morning, no one I know will be up to see me walking outside in my p.js and like she said, her car is packed right across the street.
I think somewhere at the back of my mind I remember promising to kill her if I lay my eyes on her but right now I can only think of killing her with affection. I've never been  this happy to see another person even one who woke me up from a magical dream and her smile is so wide and genuine I want to eat it off her face. I walk over to the drivers  side of the car and she opens it.
"Thought_" she starts to say something but I cut her off with my lips. I take her face in my hands and crash my lips to hers and there's nothing gentle about the act. I hunger for this girl. She tries to get me to climb on top of her by my ass and I climb unceremoniously into her lap_ a knee to her ribs, an elbow to her forehead but we laugh and groan through this not wanting to take our lips away from each other. We finally break apart when we run out of oxygen.  She looks up at me and l look down at her, her pupils dilated as fuck, her foolish grin right in place. I can see clearly the emotion in her eyes because I know its exactly what she sees in mine.
"Tell me," she says softly looking into my eyes.
"Sorry about the morning breath?" I ask coyly. She shakes her head so I continue,
"You suck for interrupting my sleep?" I say but that's not what she was asking me.
"Go on," she pegs me on.
"I think my legs are cramping from this position." But like for real they are. The car is kind of a tight space and they are really beginning to sleep.
"Then get on with it already," she says."Tell me."
I take her in for a moment and then tell her what she's asking. She's been doing this for days now.
"I love your eyes, I love when you smile at me like that, I love it when you look at me that way...and I love you Blue with everything that I am." She closes her eyes then and I press soft light kisses to her eyelids, her nose, her cheeks and finally her lips.
She moulds into my touch sighing in contentment. "With everything I am Riley," she whispers back against my lips her nails digging into the flesh of my thighs.
We stay like that for sometime then she says, "I'm taking you with me for my aerobics class today."
"No, you're not." I say firmly getting off her and falling clumsily into the passenger seat.
"I'll buy you breakfast after." She tries to bribe me with food.
"You'll buy me breakfast either way for waking me up this early."
"Okay. How about I'll fuck you senseless?" She asks, caressing my clothed nipple between her fingers and I feel my treacherous body begin to react.
"Not fair," I say while arching my back and pushing my nipple into her hand.
She withdraws her hand just as immediately leaving me hanging. "I'll take that as a yes." She sounds smug.
"Tease. And I can't go dressed like this, " I say trying to find at least one last excuse to beg out.
"Thought you might say that." She turns and rummages through a duffel behind her seat. "Here, I got you these." She hands me a pair of leggings, a blue tank top and a sports bra which in my opinion looks a tad bit small.
"Blue you don't expect me to put on your bra do you?"
"It's not mine," she says defensively.
I raise my eyebrow at her questioningly. It better not be an exes.
She rolls her eyes at me.  "I bought it."
"Okay. But I don't think it'll fit." I stretch it out against my chest experimentally.
"Babe, I've had your babies in my hands only like a million times, I'm sure I know your bra size by now." Alright.
"Fine. I don't see appropriate shoes ma'am?"
She leans forward and nibbles at my bottom lip. "Trust me, I got you."
