Days passed by in a blur. True to his words, Nathan seemed to really accept the fact that we are indeed engaged.

After the conversation that we had a few days ago, there's no more instance that he yelled at me or even scowled at me. Instead he became more relaxed when he's with we, just like the old times I felt I have got my Nathan back.

Graduation is now just around the corner and all of us seniors are being a busy bee completing requirements before the given deadline. As for Andrew and Piwie, they are both busy with their articles for the school paper where they're assigned to interview the faculty members about the upcoming graduation ceremony. As for me... I am in the library, getting all the reference books I need for my thesis. But how can I even focus if someone's watching me? I sighed fighting myself to roll my eyes at this person next to me.

"Don't you have things to do? You've been following me around the whole day in case you didn't notice." I didn't bother to look at him, not because he's being annoying but because it's been really hard for me to control the strong thumping of my heart every time our eyes meet. I've been like this ever since we reconciled. I should visit a doctor soon or else I might die having a cardiac arrest just because of his presence. Ugh!

"Oh, has it been all day already?" Sarcasm is all over his voice. He even looked at his watch. Ugh! I can't help but roll my eyes at his gestures and I heard him chuckle.

"Nathan, you're unbelievable." I shook my head as he laid his head again on the table where I placed my books, his head is tilted to my direction as if watching my every move closely.

"I guess I really am unbelievable, Pumpkin..." My heart skipped a beat upon hearing him call me 'Pumpkin'. I don't know if I'm just being dreamy and assuming but I really feel that there is something new to how he say that endearment to me. There's more to it now than before, as if he's telling me that it's the most lovely word he can refer me too. As if he's really in love with me.

'But how can that be possible? Did he just realize that he loves me all along? That it was me who he really needs? Or am I just being the greatest option now that Stacy's gone?'

I swallowed hard at that thought and just focused on the pair of emerald green eyes that are staring at my green gems. We are inches away from each other but I am still afraid that he might hear my irregular heart beat so I looked away. "Yeah, you're unbelievably lazy." I almost pat my own back for not stuttering.

"Why? Don't you like my being with you?" I looked his way again and I can see he's making himself look dejected.

'If you only knew how my whole being is having a feast right now!' You wouldn't even joke about that.' I wanted to tell him that but I'm just too embarrassed by the scandalous thought. "Psh! You got such bad acting." I chose not to answer his question.

Nathan sat up straight and pouted and make a face in front of me. Huh! The beefy jock pouted, can you imagine that?!

I tried hard to suppress my laughter as he makes a fool out of himself by making weird and stupid faces in front of me, but I failed miserably as I cracked up and we got into a hearty laugh that roared the library hall.

"SILENCE! SILENCE!" Mrs. Beth Pottery, the peevish librarian came to us and slammed the table. "GET.OUT.NOW!!" She exclaimed looking really furious now than I have ever seen her. Maybe because this is the first time I made noise inside her sanctum, and to think I'm no rule breaker makes Nathan such a bad influence.

Nathan and I shared a knowing look but instead of feeling sorry, we both giggled. And the next thing I know, we are being dragged outside the library!
