After walking out of Nathan's home, I found myself sulking for the next two days. Refusing to get up from bed, thinking about what had happened with my encounter with Andrew after one long year.
Thinking about it now makes me feel so stupid for not letting him explain himself and for letting my fear took its toll on me. You can't blame me, can you?
I groaned loudly as my alarm goes buzzing again after I put it into snooze a couple of minutes ago. Deciding that it won't do me good to be late in class since it's Monday, I dragged myself out of my bed just to stumble with a loud thud when I step on a foreign object lying on the floor. I think it's one of the food wraps I threw there absentmindedly when I refused to be productive during the weekend.
I muttered a few curse words as I struggle to stand on my feet and kick the stupid thing out of my way and headed to my bathroom.
I made a mental note to call my housekeeper before I go to school since my room smells really nasty right now. I just can't risk of having slimy night crawlers reproduce themselves inside my vicinity.
I stripped from all of my...well, Friday outfit, since I didn't even bother changing clothes until now. Gross? I know.
I placed myself under the shower stall and let the warm water drain all the negativity I have; both physically and mentally.
My mind drifted back to that time Nathan proposed to Stacy. It's so nice to know that finally he had his chance of asking her for her hand in marriage though I doubt that he actually needed to. Stacy could've done it herself sooner or later if he hasn't been man enough to do it himself. A smile crept up on my face.
At least I know someone's gonna get their happy ending.
I shook my head to prevent my mind to drift that way. It just can't happen.
My thoughts travel back to my friends, I don't know if I should be glad or worried that they haven't contacted me for the last two days.
I mean, they were there when he tried to talk to me and knowing them being the nosy ones, they should have been here to bug me about details the soonest. That didn't happen though. Even the nosiest of all also known as Piwie didn't show up during those times which is really odd. She would never let this chance to slip just like that.
"Whatever" I mumbled to myself while shaking my head, proceeding to get through with bathing.
Thirty minutes passed and I am now hopping in to Sexy ready to go to school. I checked the time on my wristwatch and I still have thirty minutes before my first class. Though it wouldn't take long for me to get to Uni, I still prefer not to be late at any cost.
Call me time freak but I just hate being late, period.
Brownwood University is actually one of the most prestigious school there is in the world and students there are either wealthy or a brainiac which makes it exciting. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but I quite like the competition.
I pulled over to my spot in the parking lot earlier than expected. I still have twenty minutes before Management Class.
Once I felt contented with my face on the rearview mirror, I collected my things and went out of my car. My eyes immediately scanned the area to check if even one of my friends is already here. I sighed in relief as I've seen none of their cars on their usual spot. Even if I am curious as to why they kept their silence, I just don't want to take any risk and deal with any of them yet.
