"Are you sure, I look okay?" Piwie rolled her eyes as I asked her how I look for the nth time today. I squirm over on my seat.

"Seriously? Do I really have to answer that every damn millisecond, or you just want to give your non-existent self esteem a boost?" I let out a sigh while she planted her hands on her hips.

"Geez, that's so kind of you." I said wryly hinting my sarcasm not so subtly.

"Look Kia, you're absolutely gorgeous and besides you already have smitten Andrew back in the day when you're still wearing your geeky glasses so why are you still worrying so much?" She let out an exasperated sigh while shaking her head.

"This is our official first date, Piwie! Of course I will be worried." My nerves started picking up my pace again that I almost bite my nails.

Yes! That's right. Andrew actually asked me out on a date, as in a formal date after I tagged along with him and Annika yesterday. Since today is a holiday, that I can't remember why, I said yes almost immediately. Besides I did promise, well not directly promise him but I still did, that we are going to start over so yeah, I am going on a date with him today.

"Fine! I'll give you that," She paused before placing her hands on my shoulders, twisting me around to face my floor length mirror again. "but you need to relax. This is Andrew we're talking about. We have practically grew up with him and you of all people should know how he roll. The ever goody-two-shoes, boy-next-door, who stands as the living proof that chivalry is not dead yet." She smiled as she talked some sense to me. Panic is still creeping up on me but like what Piwie said, what else could go wrong if it is Andrew who I am dating with? Right?

I did some breathing exercise before glancing back at the mirror. Even though I asked Piwie about her opinion as to how I look, there is a part of me that is already in so much awe looking at the very woman in front of me.

She's wearing a maroon floral strapped sundress that ends just above her knees which is paired with nude brown ballerina flats. Her hair is neatly comb with the locks flowing freely on her bare shoulders. Light make up consisting of mascara and pale pink lipgloss finishes the look to accentuate her pale face. I smiled to myself upon realizing I am staring intently at myself.

I was brought back to reality by a snicker behind me. I turned to look at a grinning Piwie. "I am guessing, you do appreciate your looks now?" She said with an eyebrow arched.
