Not Edited. Happy Reading!
–Kiara–
Have you ever felt strongly about doing the things that you want but regret it right after doing it? Well I have, and it's making me feel like really shitty being so nervous and excited at the same time.
"Argh! This is stupid." I groaned loudly as I smashed the already crumpled paper on the table.
"This is not stupid, Kiara. You decided to do this yourself. Not us." Piwie snatched the paper and tried to straighten it up. She's however pertaining to the plan which concerns my future. Totally not what I am concerned about.
After the long talk that I shared with my friends over lunch on our usual table two days ago, we decided to go for an all out surprise for Andrew.
I was so eager at first, thanks to my best friends' persuasion skills and got a thing or two planned out almost immediately. It was as if I was given something that's been spiked with a magic potion.
But of course, everything has an expiration date and of all dates, the spell has been declared void today. The day of Andrew's arrival from his business trip.
My whole being is starting to faze, and my mind begins to go haywire on me. Just my luck, of course.
I rubbed my clammy hands over my face, taking heaps of breath. I can't do this.
This isn't my thing but I must admit that Piwie was right. Hell, my friends are right about this. I for once should really woman up and claim my man but is this really how it's supposed to be done?
"I know—" I paused purposely to take deep breaths as my voice came out sharp. "—but how am I suppose to memorize the script, you guys gave me? Like seriously, do I really need that?" I pointed to the dreadful piece of paper that has all the cheesy lines my friends came up with.
"For the record, this speech is all from Nate." Piwie interjected.
"Yeah, totally his idea!" I scrunched my nose as Stacy shouted from the kitchen. Does she have an enhanced hearing or something?
"W-why? What's wrong with it?" Nathan asked with a furrowed eyebrows, peeling the crumpled paper containing the speech from Piwie's hands.
"Are you seriously asking me what is wrong with it? Really, Nathaniel?" I scoffed.
He didn't answer but instead, he began reading some lines loudly. "Everything happened so fast and before I knew it, you are the only thing that matters. You are the tissue that wipes the crap I have every—"
"O-okay. Stop. Good grief, Finiggan! Do you seriously mean it when you said nothing is wrong with that speech?
Tissue that wipes crap, hell that's anything but weird, right?" I cut him off by throwing a pillow on his face, my face went to full blast blush. The sarcasm could have been sufficient to slit his throat but sad to say it couldn't. Even Stacy didn't bother smothering her laughter as she walks into my living room holding a tray of freshly baked muffins."I found it hilariously right! It's not so cheesy if you ask me and it will give everyone that would witness a golden time of their hellish lives." He shrugged confidently as if he just offered me a big chunk of a deal no one can ever resist.
