BECK'S POV
~ My fingers raised up my black hair. I inhaled as I made the big decision to show her. Show her who I really am. She deserves the truth and I can't hide it any longer. She's in trouble, this is how to protect her. I don't care if it's not the rules. I will find a way to be with her, even if its deceiving my pack.
It was tough. The strength in me was draining as I took all my force and courage to do this. I flickered my eyes apparent to her. My hair was all in my palm on the top of my head. My eyes were exposed to her. I was anxious for a response. I knew it would take some time to adjust, but I was just fussy of what she would think.
Will this break us apart? Will she believe it? Will be exposing to her cause more problems to her death?
My breathing increased as more and more time passed. She was speechless at the color of my eyes. Her mouth dropped open and her eyes increased. Her skin turned pale from her fair skin tone. I was stiff as impaientance set over me. My silver bright eyes were visible to her now.
"Say something," I finally broke the tension. My hair fell back into place as I let it go.
"I-I...I don't know what to say," She lifted her arms in frustration. I moved closer to her, touch her. My hand on her cheek making her feel comfortable with me.
She slapped my hand away and sprinted up from the bed. "You- you can't be. its- Its impossible. Unimaginable. Your crazy; I'm crazy." Her fueled word reached me as she paced back and forth.
"I'm Shadow." I plainly said out cutting out the chase. Her footing stopped. Her body turned toward me.
"Shadow?" Her eyes softened. "How?"
"Well, I'm a werewolf. I have a pack. We can shift. Our wolf speaks to us. You know the usual thing in fairy tails."
"But- but this isn't a fairy tail, right?" She questioned.
"No, it's not..." My body decided to grab her around her waist. Hold her close.
"I'm freaking out on the inside, you know?"
"I know." I smiled while looking down at her lips. I felt her analyzing in my grip.
She loosened up and escaped it. She threw her hands in gesture," I had a dream that your wolf- you were gone...dead." Her whisper cause her head to hang low in sadness.
"I'm sorry," I couldn't react any differently.
She was close again as she grabbed my arms and looked trying to find my eyes in my hair. "Tell me. Tell me everything. I really want to know about you, the wolves, the tribe, and- and what's happening to me."
"I promise." I took her in hand as I sat her down. Grazing her fingers in mine.
She breathed deeply...
"I'm ready Shadow... I'm ready now."
