(A/N) yaaay the big bad wolf comes in! I'm just going with the flow so sry if its to fast I'm just getting through with it cuz my book is gonna be like 200 pages!
~Today was Saturday. I woke this morning to the sound of my doorbell and some knocking. My doorbell is so annoying, it just keeps repeating the same sound. All I hear is ding-dong, ding-dong every time someone pushes it. Every time I'm asleep or watching a great movie when that thing starts ringing. I got my slump body off the comfort of my bed. I still had my pajamas still on as I walked toward the door. My walking pace got interrupted when my cat Sniffy started going under my feet. I forgot to fed him yesterday. I shoved him away promising myself to feed him after the door is answered. My doorbell made the annoying noise again. I ran up with my stumbling feet to my door and slowly opened it to see who keeps pushing my doorbell. I saw my neighbor, Mr. Holden, standing with his cane on the other side of my door.
"Hello, how may I help you?" I sounded like a service.
"You're the youngest person that lives in this building," was all he could say.
"What do you mean Mr. Holden?" I asked in my kindness voice.
"My dog Misty ran off into the woods that grow in the back. Could you please find her for me?" His voice pleaded.
"Of course, I go find her right away," I agreed with his proposition and smiled. I learned if you help people good thing return. Its just simple Karma. I wanted to help him anyways. See after his wife died, I see him with Misty all the time. He even talks to her sometime. I felt bad. Misty is the only thing he had left.
I got dressed in some shorts, a tank top, and my shoes. I was going to find a dog in the woods, but no one said you can't look good doing it. I also fed Sniffy on my way out the door.
~I was probably looking for about an hour until I figured out that Misty where and deeper into the woods. I told myself to go further into the woods. the forest would start in the back yard of our apartments and go for about over a mile. it was the biggest forest in New Jersey. I would say I was deeper into the woods then I have ever gone before. I could know that from passing the camping ground Carla's friends and I would go camping at. Carla and I are camping this week after school exams with her friends. We never went past the camping site because we would always chicken out to go further. I went more into the forest this time a little frightened of what could lie further, but I kept my feet moving. I couldn't see the sunrise light anymore. Damn collie, I thought. It was pitch black in the woods, but still pretty dim. I know I had been walking for longer than a few hours because my feet ached.
"Misty, where are you girl? Please come out. My feet hurt," I cried out. I moved a little further calling to the dog. the wind brushed against the tree branches and they need they made the leaves fall toward the ground. I can still smell the camp fire run through the woods. The trees surrounded me in a circle. I lost track of where I was. The path toward the camping site disappeared. I heard a little sniffle behind me. I closed my eyes and pleaded, no wolf, bear, or anything that would like to swallow me whole. I slowly turned around and saw brown and white fur.
"Misty!" I yelled," There you are. You made me come all this way, silly girl." I kneeled down to take her by her collar. She jumped and her big brown eyes widen.
"Um... Misty?" She squealed and ran pass me back into the darken woods.
"what the fudge! No, Misty come back," I hollered and turned to run after her. There must have been a rock or something because I suddenly tripped over. I felt the dirt against my skin and I knew I probably have grass stains too. I sat up on my bottom and looked around. I knew if I went after her it would be pitch black. I took out my phone as a light. I have been out here the whole day. My clock on my phone showed pm now. I didn't even notice. No wonder why the forest has lost light.
