~ Beck wanted to be alone. Finding out about all his mother must have cause stress, anger, and most of all complete drowning in terror. His eyes were sad and cold. Vincent had a plan for all these years. Innocent and human beings were sacrificed for his own needs. Carter didn't know why he wanted all the blood,  but he did. Vincent was getting it. There is one more bucket of blood he needs and I'll tell you right now he is not getting it. I don't care what everyone thinks. Beck is not made out of taboo. He is loved and cared for. That is all you need to be considered human.

As Beck was alone in a silent room on the second floor, I was making my way to the back of the cabin. I was heading toward the garden... The same one that had purple flowers.

My feet scampered across the brick pavement toward the garden. I could see it already. I could smell the beautiful scent. Plants of all kind surronded a gray stoned bench. Clear, thin, scented air breathed into my lungs. I sat down on the frozen bench, but I didn't mind if it was cold or not. This place was beautiful. I couldn't see the purple flowers that Carter was talking about. Were they all dead since she was? There was only green plants, yellow, blue, pink, and red flowers that were planted still in this scenery.

"Looking for the Anemone for Pearl?" A husky voice soothed its way into the silence. I turned my body in the back of the bench to see Carter. He stood there smiling. He was like an older version of Beck. I could tell that they were related.

"What?" I said spazed.

"The purple flower... Are you looking for it?"

"Yes," I smiled. He knew what I wanted. I wanted to pay my respects to a brave woman. She became part of the wolf tribe... the supernatural world. She was like me and was probably shut out. She made me see that there is a chance to be with Beck. I hope he will chose me over his mate. I want to be here with him. I can't leave him. Pearl gave me hope and a reason to stop douting myself. I can belong if I try hard enough. If my love is strong enough...

"They are resting over here," Carter said. I stood up to see what he was referring to. He stood next to a patch of ferns and other plants. He reached his hand through the tangle of plants. His hand opened up a pathway inside. You could see just a few of the Anemone still standing, beautifully.

"They are hiden for her saftey. It's the only thing left of her and I intend to keep these flowers alive for her," He smiled as he grazed one of the petals with his finger.

"How do they get sunlight?" I asked referring to the hidden plant.

"I don't know. They just stay alive. If you talk to them they will move toward you. It was a sight I never seen. I believe her spirit rests here. I believe these flowers are here. She's still with us... forever...."

"You must have really loved her..." I spoke out of unawareness. I covered my mouth at the realization," I'm sorry."

"No, no it's o.k. I did and I still do."

"How come she was accepted?"

"Are you asking because you might want to...you know... with Beck?"

I nodded. Of course I do.

He chuckled a little, " It was a weird story actually. I was already engaged to my mate..." He paused as my mouth hung open. He was engaged to someone else; his mate?
